Is there a translation problem in this article? The first line says "four files 'important'..." but the rest of the article doesn't even mention the Oil and Gas Law that they said they would address. Or maybe it is the 5th important file and they will get to it "soon" and "in the coming days" right after they take care of these first most important 4 files, one of which is getting foreign troops out of their country. Well guess what, we ain't going nowhere till you pass the HCL, and reinstate your currency. So get off the pot, pass the HCL, reinstate your dinar, and we will be happy to bid you "so long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye!" So just wondering. Guess the HCL just keeps getting pushed to the back burner because so many other "files" come up that are so much more important than making sure the people they represent get a share of the Iraqi profits. 1

10 YEARS LATER
Problem - - Whadaya bet these fools by whatever means necessary stretch this out to Ramadan, come back and we get more recycled news about what they're gonna do only to see the shenanigans just carry on for god knows how long. . . still waiting. Now, while all this is going on - let's not forget Tariffs & Taxes are in full swing ( too late to back now on this, yes ? ); bleeding the citizens White of what precious little financial reserves they have, plunging them all deeper & deeper into poverty. That's a recipe for mass demonstrations and possible anarchy. Solution - - OR . . . they could simply do what they were voted into office to do in the first place, and complete what we ALL know they're supposed to, PRONTO> Will Greed & Corruption Win the day or will the right things be done and Iraq moves into a better future than the stagnant cesspool we see before us ? As for the HCL - Whats the hurry to move the forward when politicians can keep doing what they're doing ? I'm sure not privy to integral details here; but what if the CBI RI/RVs NOW . . . thus putting ( public as well ) pressure on the GOI & hopefully backing them into a corner where they will have no other option but to act and act quickly to avoid a massive public backlash. Am I way off base here ? It's a simple case of Leverage - - bring pressure to bear to force the issue to get the desired result. . . and no . . . My name is not Mr. Phelps & Im not a member of the IMF ( Impossible Mission Force - cue theme ). 1 2
