I don't speak Latin, but if that was the case then it only shows how UTTERLY STUPID people on the left truly are.

That statue was computerized with multiple programmable moving parts in order to make it as life like as possible.

It had to cost millions of dollars, That's  a ridiculous amount of money to wast just for hate.

I seem to recall somebody saying Socialism was Communism without the guns.....people should make up their minds.

That's a false and absurd assumption. You know what I meant.

Socialist don't use guns to enforce Socialism, they take everyone else's guns away and then they use their guns

to enforce Socialist Communism. It's how they convince the simpletons to fall for Socialism. Which almost always ends up being Communism.

In the GIF above I view the Socialist as a burgeoning Communist. Because ALL SOCIALIST ARE LIARS AND COMMUNIST IN DISGUISE.

Hello LGD.....That's a Carnival Parade  and Viareggio is the most famous here in Italy along with the one in Venice...

So the Carnival wagons and statues are supposed to be cause for hilarity and a good time and laugh in regard to anything and everything....Local politicians and foreign ones ( Merkel, Macron, May, Putin, Erdogan etc) and whatever  current issue ( again.... domestic and foreign)

Carnival is supposed to be a light- hearted moment and  ( supposedly at least) very funny

As for everything else in this world ...Some will enjoy it while others will not...Perfectly legitimate

I originally posted the pic from a tweet that came across my feed. And while I kept most of my thoughts to myself I was

struck greatly by the statue. It reminded me of the book of Revelation. And were I Trump I personally would have denounced

it for Religious beliefs. So I was surprised that Trump made no comment on the matter. But seeing it's for a Carnival he most

likely didn't think the subject worthy of a comment. It's all good. :tiphat:

Ok...I guess that's a way to look at it.....

That some of us who do believe in more social justice, more equality, less Corporations greed & power ( and a whole spectrum of other things...)....are just some suicidal  simpletons.....

I have to respect your view but do not share it...And never will

I do know ( and that makes sense if one believes strongly in something) you'll do the same with your  convictions....

We all have to stick to what we want and believe....I do accept and agree on that

Umbertino, the ONLY difference that you and I share on the social agenda is found in who we each

choose to follow. We agree identically where social issues are concerned, but you choose to find

equality in government, whereas I choose to find my social compass in Jesus Christ.

The difference being that anything that man controls is by nature corrupt. Especially Government.

Pretending that Socialism and Communism aren't two branches of the same tree is ridiculous.

That's like saying that capitalism and a Democratic Republic have nothing in common.

And you may be right as we now stand. But I have to believe and hope that our founding fathers

truly intended for a different outcome.

I agree the foundation on which this was built was very solid... But today, the government is run by the corporations and trust me, corporations don't care about you, me or anything but profit... How much money does one person need? CEOs making $400 Million a year is sick... Hell, Manny Machado just signed for $300 million to play baseball for 10 years, but we can't afford to help our veterans or senior citizens... America is ill. Society is misdirected. Greed is the new bible.

WATCH: Lone Trump Supporter Takes On Maxine Waters Whole Protest And WINS

5412_2.jpg

Rep. Maxine Waters suffered a total meltdown this week and was apparently triggered by a lone Trump supporter waving an American flag at her event.

While speaking to a small group in Los Angeles on Monday, the California Democrat attacked President Donald Trump, smeared his supporters, and went into a diatribe against the border wall.

As noted by The American Mirror, the short video clip posted online shows that when Waters was speaking, a man wearing waving an American flag and wearing a red “MAGA” hat is seen in the crowd.

“This president is trying to keep a campaign promise to all of those people that he swore he would build a wall,” Waters began to shout.

“And those people who want the wall are not not patriots, they’re not people who love this country, they’re not people who stand up for what’s right, and so we’ve got to resist this president and this so-called fake emergency,” she said.

When the Trump supporter stood near Waters, someone in the crowd attempted to grab his flag while others were screaming at him and calling him a “fascist.”

“America!” the Trump support shouted back.

“Stop this fake president,” Waters chanted, whipping up the crowd.

When police stepped in and moved the Trump supporter away from Waters, she fired up the crowd and singled him out.

“He’s confused,” she shouted to the crowd, who applauded.

“Go f*ck yourself!” a Waters supporter yelled at him.

This woman's hatred for America is palpable.

She is not only a danger to herself but to the entire

WORLD

5 House Democrats took $60,000 trip to South Africa for Beyoncé concert, records show

Five members of the Congressional Black Caucus took a $60,000 trip to see Beyoncé and other stars perform in concert in South Africa late last year, according to congressional disclosure records.

The lawmakers were

U.S. Reps. Gregory Meeks of New York,

 Barbara Lee of California,

Bobby Rush of Illinois,

Terri Sewell of Alabama

and

Hank Johnson of Georgia, according to the data.

They attended the “Global Citizen Mandela 100” concert from Dec. 1-3 to celebrate the centenary birth of the late Nelson Mandela and raise awareness of global poverty. In addition to Beyoncé, other musical acts included her husband Jay Z, Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams and Chris Martin.

The lawmakers appeared in a photo that the Rev. Al Sharpton, who also attended the event, posted on his Twitter page.

I’m in South Africa headed to the Global Citizen Festival with Congressional Black Caucus members Greg Meeks, Barbara Lee, Bobby Rush & Hank Johnson & my @MSNBC colleague Joy Reid. #GlobalCitizenFestivalSA

The trip was paid for by Global Citizen, a nonprofit that lobbies for anti-poverty programs around the world, the Washington Examiner reported. The group said the presence of members of Congress at the concert would “showcase America’s ongoing commitment [to] health equality and global human rights.”

Other celebrities at the event included Oprah Winfrey and “Daily Show” host Trevor Noah.

“In the spirit of Nelson Mandela, we pledge to keep working with our colleagues in Congress, across the country and across the aisle, to make sure that every child in Africa and at home has the opportunity to thrive and grow in a safe and prosperous world,” Meeks said, according to the Examiner.

“As a Sr. member of the Foreign Affairs Comm[ittee] who understands the importance of both multilateral & bilateral relations on trade & foreign policy, developing that relationship is crucial,” Meeks said when asked how the trip was related to his congressional duties.

The National Legal and Policy Center, a watchdog group, called the trip a “mockery.”

"These members of Congress that were given an all-expense paid vacation to party with Oprah, Jay Z, and Beyoncé in South Africa are claiming with a straight face this was needed to help poor children around the world live better lives," Tom Anderson, president of the NLPC's Government Integrity Project, told Examiner. "This was in fact, a mockery of House ethics rules on gifts and travel, the truly poor, and all Americans that expect members of Congress to live not only by the letter of the law but by the spirit and intentions of the rules of the House of Representatives."

A representative for Sewell said her travel "was pre-approved by the House Ethics Committee and was not paid for at taxpayer expense" and that "Rep. Sewell and several other members attended the Global Citizen Mandela 100 Festival, a platform for world leaders to speak out against racial injustice and inequity, and voice their support for international assistance for underprivileged populations."

According to the travel itinerary, the congressional members were in South Africa for one full day and used two partial days for travel.

In January, a group of Democrats was criticized for flying to Puerto Rico for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus BOLD PAC gathering in San Juan, where they also attended a special performance of the Broadway play "Hamilton."
