Al-Kaabi: Consultations to hold an emergency session to discuss the violation of Iraq's sovereignty by Trump
"We will work and in consultation with members of the Presidency of the Council to convene an emergency meeting to discuss the violation of Iraqi sovereignty by US President Donald Trump," said First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan al-Kaabi.
It is noteworthy that the majority of deputies returned to their provinces and some traveled abroad on the occasion of New Year's holidays, which makes the convening of an emergency is difficult because the members of parliament are not present in Baghdad, especially the Kurdish deputies.
The visit of Trump and his wife, Milana, a surprise and undeclared to the Ain al-Assad air base in Anbar province on Wednesday affected a political controversy and called on the Iraqi government to state its position.
"The US authorities informed the Iraqi authorities of the desire of US President Donald Trump to visit Iraq this evening to congratulate the new Iraqi government and to visit the US military as part of the international coalition forces supporting Iraq in the fight against the Daash and the Iraqi government welcomed the request," the media office said.
He added that "there was supposed to be an official reception and a meeting between the Prime Minister, Mr. Adel Abdul Mahdi, and the US president, but a divergence of views to organize the meeting led to the replacement by telephone conversation on the developments of the situation, especially after the US president's decision to withdraw from Syria, Calling for security and stability for the peoples and countries of the region. "
Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi welcomed the US president and invited him to visit Baghdad. The US president also called on the prime minister to visit Washington and the two sides agreed to continue to strengthen the joint relations between the two countries.

One thing is most certain, the Iranian puppets / terrorist in Iraq certainly think it's about the revaluation of the dinar. Far too much protest over a President visiting his troops in a country that he liberated.

"

"The idiot Trump must realize that the sovereignty of Iraq came with blood, and that the military bases are not built in the country of resistance and martyrs," said the official spokesman of the Al-Najba movement, one of the factions of Hashim al-Musawi. "It is now the duty of the government to expel US forces, because their presence affects the sovereignty of Iraq. "" Trump wants to reduce the sovereignty of Iraq at the base of Ain al-Assad, and this will not be our cost. "

For his part, MP in Parliament, Faleh al-Khazali, that "the Trump to know that Iraq after 2014, not as before and the government to remove US forces from Iraq" .. "victorious Iraq is not an American state and Mr. Adel Abdul Mahdi, In line with Article 50 of the Iraqi Constitution. "

Al-Khazali stressed that "the American leaders who were defeated in Iraq want to return to it again under any pretext and this is what we do not allow at all, and Trump's visit to US forces in Iraq, indicating that they are non-advisory and training and the government to assume its responsibilities."

The MP pointed out that the parliament in its previous session issued an order to "schedule the exit of all foreign forces from Iraqi territory, but it did not happen because of corruption."

I agree with you Floridian. This President is too reckless, it appears that he is stirring up a hornet's nest. So much uncertainty is being created. Now Al Sadr wants the U.S to leave but when Sadaam was kicking their asses they needed our help. Iran and Putin are enjoying this and the Iraq's are too blind to see it. If we leave Iran will take over and I hope we never go back and the  Iraq's will have to defend themselves. We have seen how that has worked out in the past. While they wants us to leave they need to continue to diversify their economy and revalue their currency. There isn't a lot of crime in wealthy neighborhoods. Only time will tell. I pray for the safety of our US Soldiers and hope for the best for us all!!

If it weren't for the USA this little third world country still couldn't spell the word sovereignty. The Iraqi citizens are staving an have no electricity plus not a fully formed government an they want to call a special session to protest Trumps visit, what a stone aged mentality these idiots are.

I'm at the point where I don't care about this Dinar an ready for Trump to pull our troops out of Iraq an let Iran have it. This way we can have plenty of room when we start our bombings an missel attacks. We can finish what ISIS started, except we take Iran this time with Iraq....

Looks like the Bicraqi Iraqi Prime Sinister is meeting with The True The United States Of America Patriot President Donald J Trump on December 31, 2018 just prior to the New Year AND New Dawn for the Bicraqi Iraqi should THEY accept it.

The True The United States Of America Patriot President Donald J Trump will likely inform the Bicraqi Iraqi Prime Sinister that MONAE' talks and the OTHER stuff WALKS!!! AND the Bicraqi Iraqi  WILL walk ALL ALONE should THEY choose the OTHER stuff.

Al-Khazali is:

Iraqi terrorist turned politician told U.S. interrogators he worked with Iran to kill Americans https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/josh-rogin/wp/2018/08/30/iraqi-terrorist-turned-politician-told-u-s-interrogators-he-worked-with-iran-to-kill-americans/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.0327ede9a848

He speaks bravely, but when it comes to reconstruction and the money Iraq does not have, IMO  Khazali will be eating his words.  Al-Khazali is a Shiite extremist who hates America and Trump because of Iranian sanctions. He should never have been elected to Parliament.
