"The draft resolution to withdraw US forces from Iraq is now in the parliamentary legal committee to draft them legally and put them to vote before the House of Representatives soon," Baldawi said in a press statement.

He added that "the presence of US forces in Iraq harms the security interests of Iraq and threatens national security," pointing out that "the organization of the criminal advocate is the fabric of the United States of America."

"The new government program includes the withdrawal of foreign forces from Iraq and is in line with the trends of parliament in ending the American presence," Baldawi said.
