The only s***t show I saw was 2 Democrats unwilling to bend on anything.  Especially, Nancy, who was clucking like an out of control

chicken.  She’s such a fine example of who the Democrats truly are, a bunch of clucking chickens spewing catch phrases for TV and computer clips.  Oh, she couldn’t wait to get to her paid off media to question Trumps manhood and to say it’s Trump’ shut down.  

 

I guess she she hasn’t read the polls that say Americans want Congress to do its job and protect our borders.  

I think Trump was brilliant putting that display of lunacy out there for the public to witness.  The only thing he did wrong was try to talk to her.  What he should have done was let her cluck away and then say, “ see what I have to deal with America,, a clucking chicken who won’t protect our borders”.

 

The other thing he did wrong was to bring his statue, Pence, to the meeting.  It was the wrong timing to unveil that beautiful statue.

With all due respect, Pitcher.....Democrats are unwilling to bend?    Donald is the one willing to shut the government down....how is that bending?  The Dems are offering 1.3 billion to support a law already on the books for replacement and repair and Donald wants more, or nothing at all.  How on God's green earth can you pass the blame of not bending onto the Dems when Donald is owning a shutdown at his own hand?  Millions of people worldwide think he might be an idiot (Google "idiot" and see who's pic shows up), and now he's displayed it for all to see and removed any doubt.

Of course I name called. I did it on purpose to show you how childish it is to act like that. The Dems do it all the time. They called Ronald Reagan an idiot, they called George W Bush a moron.  It’s what Dems do because they have NO answer to many of their positions  They can’t argue intellectually so they go to name calling and having those hilarious skits on SNL (not) to demean and ridicule their opponents. They Dems have a real problem with Border Security.  A huge problem. I live in Texas and I see the invasion EVERYDAY!!

The Dems counter with running Beto O’Rourke for Senator in Texas. He’s an Obama like dude. He’s cool, he’s hip, he’s oh so so smart BUT he says we shouldn’t have borders.  That’s why he lost even though he spent 80 million dollars, twice that of Cruz.

On the rule of law and entering this country lawfully, you and I are in agreement.  With respect to a "Wall", I'm not in concurrence.  We have open borders to the East, West, and half of the South, albeit water bound, and little to no man made physical borders to the North....Those borders are indeed monitored and patrolled, as is the land border with Mexico, which also has a physical barrier for much of it.  Much of the drugs that enter this country, do so underground.  So unless a 30 feet tall wall is also 50 feet deep into the earth, it's merely a small annoyance for the really, truly bad folks who wish to do bad things in our country.  Therefore, I'm of the belief we should replace and repair what we have and use the extra money for man power and equipment, drones and night vision for example.  As always, just my opinion.

Have you ever been to the US Mexico border near San Diego,  Arizona,  or anywhere in Texas.  I have, and I have seen with my own eyes the  border rush of 50-100 illegals into the US.  I have seen illegals swim across the Rio Grande in Texas.  I did it myself because I wanted to see how treacherous it was to swim that river.  It’s not very hard or treacherous.  

 

I agree, there is no way you can build a 3k mile border wall to secure the entire border but you can build it in the urban areas that have these Rush runs into America.  You have to have those to stop those kinds of Rush runs or deploy thousands of troops to apprehend them when they cross. You didn’t see many of those caravan people rush run our border did you.  Nope, because they had to climb over a small wall, get through barbed wire, and then face our Military.  

 

The underground tunnels are are so easy to stop it is silly.  Why haven’t they, because there has been little political will to shut down illegals from entering. Republicans are almost as guilty of poor border security as the Dems.  The Reps use the illegals for cheap labor and the Dems use them for votes. No one cares about the thousands of poor souls who die unmercifully trying to cross into the US through the SW desert border area. No one gives two hoots about people being used and abused by the coyotes. I have backpacked all through the Big Bend National Park in Texas and I can tell you firsthand the desert is extremely dangerous.  I have seen with my own eyes close to 10 makeshift graves in West Texas near the border.  

 

To state my position on border security I am 100% in favor of a strong strong border control.  I want Huge unpenetrable walls in the urban areas and use everything else for the more remote areas ( drones, patrols, seismic detectors like they use in the Sinai, air reconnaissance, balloons  and anything else you can think of to apprehend the perpetrators).  Those who sneak in are illegal and need to go back.  We need to encourage the proper way to immigrate to the US and we should have a system for seasonal workers to enter without having to risk their lives. We need to stop rewarding illegal immigration by closing, free housing, free medical, free food, free anything.   If you are hear illegally and have been here a long time you need to come forward and get identified.  If that means being escorted to the border and re-entering the correct way then so be it.  We should help these people, especially the ones who have children and can prove to be hard working, law abiding people.  The Democrats and the Republicans need to work out a REAl solution to this problem and quit politicizing this bs.  

 

I dont agree with Trump on many issues, but he is 100% correct in wanting a strong border security.  He’s right because he has listened to the many people who have been a victim of the crimes the illegals have perpetrated.  You wonder why it is a hot button issue for me.  I’ve have several friends who have had altercations with these illegals.  I was almost a victim of an attempted robbery by two Central Americans.  I’m not 100% sure they were in America illegally but I would be willing to bet they were.  BTW, I didn’t get robbed because I was alert and introduced them to Mr Glock 30 (my 45 cal carry weapon).  I never go out in public without some form of weapon to protect myself, not in Houston.

 I have numerous legal Hispanic friends.  They are some of the most honest, hard working, grateful to be In America, law abiding, loving people I have ever met.  I’ve hired many ( I paid them above min wage because they earned it) and I always make sure they are citizens or have a legal green card.  BTW, it is the law.  When I talk to these people they truly don’t believe in open borders, drug runners, not working and all the other typical serotypical images you might have of Hispanics.  You may also find it hard to believe that many of these people actually like Trump, not so much on the border issue as you might think.  They want a stronger border so their family, friends,and countrymen don’t have to be abused by drug cartels, coyotes and death trying to come to America.  It’s a humane issue for a lot of these folks and I agree with them on that issue.
