The House of Representatives holds, Sunday, its regular session, which is free from the paragraph vote on the completion of the ministerial cabin. 
The Information Service of the Council in a statement received / Mawazine News / a copy of it, "The Parliament held this afternoon, the nineteenth session of the first legislative term for the first legislative year of the fourth parliamentary session." 
The Chamber added that "the agenda of the meeting includes the completion of the vote on the amendment of the rules of procedure of the House of Representatives, and presented the report on education on the grades."

Revealed a deputy for the Fath Alliance Fadhel Abdul Shnein, on Sunday, that more than 100 gathered signatures to include the completion of the ministerial cab in the parliamentary session today. 
"The more than 100 deputies have collected signatures to include the completion of the ministerial cab in the parliamentary session today," Abdul Shannin told Mawazine News. 
The House of Representatives will hold its 19th session of the first legislative term for the first legislative year of the fourth parliamentary session. The agenda will include the completion of the vote on the amendment of the rules of procedure of the House of Representatives.

Sabah al-Bawi, Director General of the Legal Department and the legal agent of the President of the Council, Mohamed Halboussi, revealed details of the last session of the Federal Court to consider the appeal submitted by the Government in the Law of the House of Representatives No. (13) for the year 2018. 
"The Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbousi attended the session of the Federal Supreme Court today, which was held to consider the appeal submitted by the Government in the Law of the House of Representatives No. (13) for the year 2018," Al-Bawi said in a statement received by Mawazine News. 
He added that "President Halabousi intends to defend the provisions of the law of the House of Representatives in the hearing, especially those texts that are based on the Constitution and ensure the independence of the legislative authority from the powers of the other state under Article (47) of the Constitution and reserved for the Council privacy to improve its legislative and supervisory and representative.
Al-Bawi said that "the presence of Halbusi himself to the hearing is a unique precedent where no head of the House of Representatives to attend a hearing of the Federal Supreme Court when considering the constitutionality of the laws enacted by the Council." 
The President of the House of Representatives has announced the waiver of the texts that determine the special status of the members of the Council and that it is necessary to ensure the pension rights for deputies as well as state employees and in accordance with the Consolidated Pension Law No. 9 of 2014 or any law replaces it. 
The former Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi has appealed the law of the House of Representatives, when published in the Official Gazette last April, and the deputies of the House of Representatives and the Council of Ministers exchanged the regulations on the appeal of constitutional law of the House of Representatives number (140) for the year 2018 The lawsuit reached its stages The court decided to decide on the constitutionality of the law in today's session or thereafter.

Halabousi and Mahmoud discuss coordination in legislative tasks

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - 
Parliament speaker Mohamed Halboussi on Sunday discussed with President of the Federal Supreme Court Medhat al-Mahmoud the coordination of legislative tasks. 
"Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud, President of the Supreme Federal Court, met with the Speaker of Parliament Mohammad Halbousi in his office this morning," the court's spokesman Ayas al-Samuk said in a statement received by Mawazine News. 
Al-Samok added that "the meeting was held on the coordination and exchange of views between the Council and the Federal Supreme Court on the legislative functions of the Council in light of the provisions of the Constitution and in the light of the case law Constitutional."

The Presidency of the House of Representatives, Sunday, postponed the holding of the parliamentary session to Tuesday of next week. 

A parliamentary source told Alsumaria News, "The Presidency of the House of Representatives decided, today, to postpone the holding of the parliamentary session to one o'clock on Tuesday, the eighteenth of December." 

The House of Representatives decided, earlier, to postpone its half-hour meeting, because of the lack of quorum.

 

 


The parliament's chairmanship was lifted Saturday to Sunday, where its agenda included completing the vote on the amendment of the House's rules of procedure and presenting the report of the Education Committee on the grades.

Parliamentary Rapporteur Khadija Ali, on Sunday, explained the reason for the postponement of today's session, while attributed to the non-completion of the quorum indicated that the deputies of the reform bloc and the Kurdistan Union refused to enter the session. 
"The House of Representatives held its meeting today in the presence of no more than 114 deputies did not achieve the quorum, which led the President to postpone it half an hour." 
She added that "the Council continued to postpone four times and did not exceed the attendance of 146 deputies," referring to the order "to reject the Reform Alliance and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan enter the room and stay in the cafeteria, breaking the quorum." 
"The presidency has adjourned the meeting to next Tuesday without specifying the agenda for the next session."
"It was scheduled to discuss the parliament in today's meeting, the file of appointments in the Ministry of Education and grades available within the budget of 2019 and vote on the rules of procedure of the Council."

Why schedule another meeting if they aren't going to do anything, much less show up ?? Call it a year. They're probably exhausted from all their inaction, and that cafeteria has to be getting ripe from all the BS. What a pathetic group.

It was scheduled to complete the parliament during its vote on the amendment of the rules of procedure of the House of Representatives, and presented the report on education on grades. 
The agenda of the session of the House of Representatives, which was hoped to be held today, did not include the completion of the ministerial cabin
