"The Legal Committee held a meeting today under the chairmanship of MP Faik Al-Sheikh Ali and in the presence of its members to discuss a number of the items on its agenda," a statement by the Information Department of the House of Representatives. "The meeting discussed a number of proposals and draft laws on its agenda, including a proposal to amend the election law, and the committee agreed to reformulate some paragraphs of the proposal to amend the law to submit the final version of the law to the Committee on Sunday. He pointed out that "the committee discussed the proposal to use the wheels of the executive branch by the ministers and agents and directors-general and its divisions, stressing the need to organize the mechanisms of work and the preparation of those vehicles."
