Maliki heads to Iran for official visit

head of a coalition of state law, secretary-general of the Islamic Dawa Party, Nuri al-Maliki, on Friday went to the Islamic Republic of Iran on an official visit to attend an Islamic conference. 

In a statement received by the Al-Ghali Press, Al-Maliki said that Al-Maliki "went to the Iranian capital this morning to take part in the Islamic unity conference to be held on Saturday," without giving further details.

International conference on Islamic unity opens in Tehran

launched the work of the 32 International Conference on Islamic unity in the Iranian capital Tehran, under the slogan "Jerusalem; the axis of Islamic unity."

More than 300 prominent thinkers, politicians and artists from more than 100 countries are participating in the conference.

The conference will include 3 committees on Palestine with the titles "Palestine and the Deal of the Century", "Palestine and Al-Quds Al-Sharif", "Palestine and the Right of Return", as well as the formation of the committees of the Muslim Women's Union, And the Good Offices Committee.

A meeting on "The role of political parties and activists in reducing sectarian differences and supporting the Palestinian cause" was held yesterday.
