I was wondering HOW far THEY were in opening the Green Zone. 85% is GOOD!!!

Today is Sunday, April 28 with two (2) days left in April. So ten (10) - two (2) = ON OR AROUND May 8, 2019 the Green Zone SHOULD BE FULLY OPENED.

Ramadan APPARENTLY starts on the eve of Sunday, May 5 SO the Green Zone SHOULD BE OPEN EALRY Ramadan.

I WONDER IF the Bicraqi Iraqi WILL HAVE some "flash" "cash" WITH a NEWLY ReInstated INTERNATIONALLY Bicraqi Iraqi Dinar AND Lower Denominations TO CELEBRATE Ramadan THROUGH the Eid al-Fitr???!!!

I anticipated THIS!!! Sixteen (16) Years of NEGLECT of MAINTENANCE inevitably will lead to CITIZEN Safety concerns WHEREAS the restorations "of the cultural facade of the capital" IS CRUCIAL AND may have required the barriers to remain in place UNTIL the pedestrian AND vehicular traffic COULD be restored WITHOUT construction/maintenance obstructions.

Hey, need to be MOST inviting WHEN the LEGENDARY High Quality AND One Of A Kind Baghdad Flying Carpets GO ON SALE for Eid al-Fitr GIFTS!!!

Good News, TOO, for INTERNATIONAL investors to NOT WITNESS ANY remnants of PAST CONFLICTS doing BI"NESS IN Baghdad!!!

Remove the irregularities and lift the blocks returned to Baghdad features

Baghdad / Haider al-Atari
Baghdad Municipality revealed that the major campaign carried out to remove the thousands of violations within the 14 municipal departments contributed to the restoration of the capital to its splendor and features again, while citizens expressed their satisfaction to remove the violations that preceded the lifting of the blocks and the opening of the streets.
An official source at the secretariat said in a special statement to Al-Sabah: "The plan, which was prepared to improve the aesthetic reality of the streets and roads and preserve the basic design of the city of Baghdad, began to be seen through the restoration of public property from violators who have distorted the streets and residential areas with their grave breaches.
He pointed out that on the basis of directives issued by the Council of Ministers, the lifting of violations on public property and the return of life to sidewalks, streets and carrots, the Secretariat has carried out the largest campaign earlier this year to lift the violations on its property resulted in the removal of hundreds of thousands of them, similar to the residential role built on the land Governmental or non-residential.
The source attributed the recurrence of abuses that began to decline, to the laws in force and lack of implementation, as well as the lack of culture of preservation of public property, such as sidewalks and carrots and streets, along with the weakness of the force trapped land by allowing the offenders to take public property to promote their goods.
He went on to say that the campaigns carried out by the Secretariat on the random markets, shops and some residential areas whose residents used the sidewalks and fencing them to be garages for cars, aims to maintain the basic design of the city of Baghdad and restore the real face.
He called on citizens to preserve public property and prevent violators from confiscating the rights of others, pointing out that the visual distortions began to fade after lifting the blocks and concrete barriers that perched on the street Baghdadi for years.
Moreover, citizens expressed their satisfaction with the measures taken against violators and violators of the laws and regulations in force, and the resultant demonstration of the real face of the capital.
They explained in their conversations for "morning": that the capital began to restore the power again, after it became clear the features of the streets through campaigns to remove municipal violations and the lifting of concrete blocks, as well as campaigns washing and cleaning streets, preceded by the operations of clothing for some neighborhoods.
