Can anybody smell GCC single currency......😉? Or is it just me.

The motivation for the formation of the GCC was a desire to have common market and economic integrations...and with it ~ a single currency.

I've been guessing Iraq is the missing link they have been waiting for.....

Seriously . . . RI/RV in 2023 ?

5 more years . . . there would be anarchy in the streets long before then. The people have already lived off broken promises for many years.

But then this Iraq and who the hell knows what passes for thought with this mob.

Complx never stated that. There you go again stirring up things that aren't even there.

This is an economic plan which means investment from outside of Iraq. This is good for Iraq.

Absolutely nowhere does complx states that the RV will be on or after 2023. You thought wrong.

This is what I see. (Keep in mind this is my opinion only.)

  • GCC Consists of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE Oman and (For now) Qatar
  • Iraq has been making the necessary payments to Kuwait
  • Saudi Arabia has been cozying up with Iraq economically for the past year.

This is all a rollout to get them into the GCC officially. This means they need to put a few things in place (say, HCL). This then kickstarts adding value to the currency. Thoughts?
