Trump: We will repay our debts in my second term

Release Date: 2018/11/2 9:20 • 33 times scheduled

story_img_5bdbecacd48b2.jpeg

President Donald Trump made a surprise by announcing that the United States would pay off its huge public debt by the end of his second term.
The announcement came during a speech at an event on creating jobs in the United States, the US newspaper The Hill reported.
Donald Trump seems confident that he will be reelected as president, as well as his belief in the possibility of repaying the public debt that has exceeded the $ 20 trillion mark in a short time.
US public debt during the fiscal year 2018 rose by more than $ 1.2 trillion to a record $ 21.5 trillion.
Trump promised this was contrary to the views of experts who expect an increase in the US budget deficit to reach one trillion dollars in 2020, with the growth of government spending.

True --- debt is, indeed, a living, breathing animal....

But it'd sure be swell to see him cut the fat, stop the bleeding to other countries, etc...

He's a common sense Business Man... bet he finds some pretty creative ways to go about it.  ;)

Lots of catching-up to undo the socialist starvation diet of the Ho'bummer years ...

like our Military for one.

So that may make it difficult.

But as long as the $$ is going to the right things for a change,

the Republic will be stronger for it.

if he doesn't quite get to the Black Ink, we're confident he'll put a helluva dent in it !

Keep the Faith ! :tiphat:

Man, Trump says this and people lose their minds. Only one person in this thread pointed to how the debt would be paid. Trump is insinuating before 2024 Iraq is going to RV large enough to pay our debt. It sux it's so long away but it shows there is an end. Spin it how you like it but golly gee wilikers batman!

There is debt forgiveness that the US has imparted on other countries. SO why not?

If he could pull that off and WE maintain our standing at the top of world powers, that would be amazing, no doubt......but me and everybody else that does or will have social security coming to them better get every damn bit plus some.  Your RV stance seems less far fetched.  As always, just my opinion.

GO RV, then BV
