Al-Kaabi: We will work with the parliaments of the world to end the crises and wars that plague the peoples .. This is our strategic plan for the next 4 years

During his speech on the work of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

Al-Kaabi talks to the world what Iraq has accomplished and invites them to visit the country: You will see "Iraq", which you hear through a counter media machine

Al-Kaabi: We will work with the parliaments of the world to end the crises and wars that plague the peoples .. This is our strategic plan for the next 4 years

Al-Kaabi: Iraq is the compass of the Middle East, and the principles of justice and fairness are made by the will of representatives of peoples in parliaments

Al-Kaabi: We will continue to enact high-value legislation that reaches the level of international law

Mr. Hassan Kareem Al Kaabi, head of the parliamentary delegation in Geneva, delivered the speech "Iraq" during the opening of the General Assembly's "139" General Assembly.

Mr. Al-Kaabi reminded the international delegations of the sacrifice and heroism of the Iraqi people, who broke the terrorism and achieved victory in a climate of harsh conditions and unique battles. The world has not seen the world since World War II, and the people of Iraq have passed the most difficult stage and recorded an end to terrorism and extremism in 2018.

The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives called on the international parliaments to visit Iraq, stressing that they would see a "country" that they hear through a counter and incorrect media machine, falsifying the facts and conveying images that are contrary to reality. "The Iraqi parliament will work with the world parliaments to end crises. And the wars that afflict peoples. "

The text reads as follows:

Madam President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union
Ladies and Gentlemen, Chairmen of Parliaments and Representatives of Parliamentary Delegations
Mr. Secretary-General
Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings

We are honored and honored to attend the annual conference of the IPU, greetings and respect for your people, and our Iraqi people progress after passing the most difficult stage in the history of Iraq. The year 2018 marked the end of terrorism and extremism and the elimination of the so-called criminal.

Blood and sacrifices of our martyrs from the Iraqi joint forces that fought fiercely and courageously and destroyed terrorism while the leaders of the armies of the world were betting on the elimination of it for many years. The heroes of the soldiers, officers, the popular and tribal masses and the Peshmerga achieved victory in unique battles fought by a harsh climate that the world had not seen since the battles of the Second World War .

The Iraqis achieved victory. Parliamentary elections were held on May 12, 2018, after the people elected their deputies for the fourth parliamentary session. The president was elected and the prime minister was appointed. Within days, a new government will be announced in the country, progressing and gaining experience from the experiences of many years ago. No one will interfere in its formation except the will of the Iraqi people.

The legislative authority of the Iraqi Council of Representatives will begin with a strategic plan that will address the suffering of Iraqis after the war years and achieve a decent life.

We will continue to follow the legislation to reach the level of international laws. We are working to consolidate the rule and the rule of law, high value rights for women and children and the completion of their own laws. The mother, sister and wife are the nucleus of the family, the children of life and the generation of the future, and we invite you all to visit our country. Which is unheard of, and conveys counter-images through a sad "media machine", and we will prove to the world that it is untrue.

Our goal is to reform the Arab situation and to open up to the international community with the four-year plan of the Iraqi parliament, which will be the unification of the word and the situation, stability, security and peace, activating the friendship agreements with all parliaments and working to end the crises and the effects of wars and disputes that transcend borders and reach all the countries of the world.

We hope that this international forum will solve the Palestinian issue with a just solution including the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, the return of the refugees to their homes, ending the crisis in Yemen, a political solution involving all Yemenis and working hard to end the suffering in Syria and Libya.

Iraq is the compass of the Middle East in its history, thought, knowledge and civilization. The principles of justice, justice and justice are made by the will of deputies and representatives of peoples through parliaments and parliamentary assemblies.

Greetings, respect and appreciation to all the audience and thank you for your good listening.
