Baghdad

A member of the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives, Magda Tamimi, on Wednesday, that the federal budget for the year 2019 bears good news for employees of contracts in all ministries and retired contracts in the ministries of security.

Al-Tamimi told the news that 'the Finance Committee of the parliament completed its meeting at 3 am this morning and was able to include the following paragraphs is to oblige the government to install electricity contracts without delay and the installment of their pensions '.

 She added that 'was able to include a binding paragraph to restore the recalcitrant contracts in the Ministries of Defense and Interior and non-procrastination in their file by the government', noting that 'the budget included the installation of all contracts of Iraq in all ministries '.

 Tamimi added that 'the parliamentary finance canceled foreign loans in the budget and adopted the internal debt only in the case of the existence of strategic projects   as well as increased quotas of portfolios and liberated Basra', explaining that 'the budget focused on the humanitarian and service and a breakthrough in the private sector across the country '.

She pointed out that 'a paragraph was inserted that obliges the ministries to calculate the higher certificates of their employees obtained during the career service'.

A parliamentary source said on Wednesday that the parliamentary finance committee agreed to authorize the Minister of Oil to extend the period of secondment of employees to companies. 
The source told Mawazine News that "the Finance Committee approved the proposal of a member of the Committee on oil and energy parliamentary Jamal al-Muhammadawi included a substance within the budget authorizes the Minister of Oil authority to extend the loan period seconded employees of the South Gas Company to the Gas Company Basra contribution exception to the law of civil service in force" .

"The Finance Committee approved the proposal of Hassan Karim al-Kaabi, First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, which includes the addition of 50% of the allocations of the Council of Ministers in the budget to the institutions of the martyrs and political prisoners," said a brief statement of the Office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament.

Dr. Bashir Haddad heads part of the meetings of the Finance Committee to approve the federal budget law for 2019

 

By Dr. Deputy Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Basheer Haddad said Wednesday that part of the meetings of the parliamentary finance committee to approve the Federal Budget Law 2019, and discussed the legal and remaining articles and amendments required for the draft law.

Al-Haddad said in a press statement received by the "Covenant News" a copy of it, the efforts of all members of the Finance Committee of Parliament over the past days and the continuation of discussions and meetings of the continuous daily, and stressed the importance of the urgency of the adoption of the federal budget law of the state to provide support for the service sectors across the country, All the provinces of Iraq, including the share of the Kurdistan region.
