At the same time if I understand camel talk, the Kurds are saying they HAVE NOT yet selected either block.  Without the Kurds, Amiri/Maliki are SOL and would be back down around 100 votes.

The Iraqi Council of Representatives opened its fourth electoral session in the presence of the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and the former Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President of the Federal Court, Midhat Al Mahmoud, on Monday 3/9/2018 in the Great Hall of the Council.

For his part, congratulated Mr. Haider Abadi, Prime Minister winning the confidence of voters and cooperation with the government and the completion of important bills. 
During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the need to strengthen security, stability and construction in order to provide services and provide employment opportunities. He pointed out that the next phase is a stage of reform and action, and that the next government will receive a unified, stable and secure state. .
