The Turkmen MP Arshad Salhi, on Monday, that the Federal Court has the final word in determining the largest bloc that will form the next government .

 

Salhi said in a statement to (Watan News) that the debate about who is the largest bloc will be decided by the Federal Court by considering the numbers of deputies in each coalition, pointing out that the political blocs are wrestling with each other and each claims to be the largest bloc .

 

It is hoped that the Federal Court will announce in the next few days the largest bloc to resolve the conflict and form the government and the rest of the presidencies over time not long ago.

 BAGHDAD -Arraq Press-3 September: The blocks of conquest, the rule of law, the Patriotic Union and Democratic Kurdistanists, withdrew from the first parliament session on Monday.

 

The withdrawal of the deputies of the four blocs after their call for the constitutional right to membership of the legislative authority for the fourth session between 2018-2022, because of the announcement of the Alliance (reform and construction) the formation of the largest bloc.

The representatives of the blocs with the President of the Age, Muhammad Ali Zinni, discussed the issue of forming and announcing the largest bloc.

The head of the first session of the session opened at the fourth session in the presence of 297 deputies.

Prior to that, Zinni received the signatures of the "Reform and Building Alliance" as a larger bloc in the House of Representatives.

head of the Islamic Supreme Council Hammam Hamoudi said on Monday that a member of Parliament has the right to exist in any bloc and can not be forced to remain in his party or mass. 
"The member should not be forced to be in a particular party or a certain bloc," Hamoudi told Mawazine News. "The member has freedom in any place and therefore it is with any of the existing projects or with any bloc of blocs." 
"This constitutional opinion, if it is clear, thank God and if it is not clear we have to go to the Federal Court to give an opinion or an explanation," Hamoudi said. 
Hamoudi pointed out that "the Kurds asked to postpone the meeting today for more dialogues to reach different visions, both in the Kurdish house or even in the house Shiite and Sunni because they are all different."

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A spokesman for a coalition of state law, Nuri al-Maliki, on Monday attributed the reasons for the departure of MPs from the "Al-Bina" alliance to the parliament's understanding of the names of the speaker and his deputies.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), led by Masoud Barzani, said Monday that the negotiations between the two ruling parties (the Democratic Union) are continuing in Baghdad, while the Kurdish parties have not reached an agreement on forming the largest bloc so far.

"The meetings held yesterday between the ruling parties (the Democratic Union) and the winning political blocs in Baghdad did not reach a final agreement on the Kurds to join any axis to form the largest bloc," Party member Majid Shankali said in a statement to " "Negotiations of the Kurdish parties are still ongoing with all the political blocs in Baghdad."

He added that "the Kurdish parties will ally with the axis that achieves the Kurdish demands and the application of Article 140 of the Iraqi constitution," likely "to go Kurdish parties to the political opposition within the House of Representatives in the absence of an agreement to achieve Kurdish demands."

Hard to cut through all of this......

 

this is what I am getting..........There are 320 or so involved.......the reform and construction bloc included 183 members, while the construction coalition came with 148 members. So there are only a handful uncommitted..........so it looks like Abadi will hold on.......

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said that the issue of the largest bloc has been resolved and got a majority of half plus one. Abadi said in a press statement that "was resolved today the issue of the largest bloc, which got a majority of half plus one vote of members of the House of Representatives." Abadi called for not using the suffering of citizens for political purposes, pointing out that all Iraqi problems can be resolved without any grievance. "All the problems of the Iraqis can be resolved without any of its components being wronged whether they are in the north, south, east or west," Abbadi said during the first parliament session held in the parliament building, calling for "not to exploit the suffering of citizens for political purposes." "The government and Iraq are in a state of loss because of the occupation of an oppressive organization, but now the country has taken its deserved place in its regional and Arab environment, and strengthened relations with neighboring countries." Abadi called on the next government to "strengthen relations with neighboring countries, Relations on the basis of mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of the State ".
