Private / Maliki in Kuwait to win support and break the Gulf support for slaves

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Vice-President Nuri al-Maliki is seeking through his visit to Kuwait to seek support for a larger bloc project in alliance with the Fatah coalition and most of the Kurdish forces, as well as a broad spectrum of Sunni politicians, informed sources said on Monday.

"Maliki will send letters of reassurance to Kuwaiti officials in an attempt to break the Gulf support of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi," the sources told AFP.

According to the sources, "Maliki relies on a coalition expected with a large number of Sunni leaders, which may push some Gulf countries to support his alliance."

The sources do not hide their fear of "not accepting Kuwait's project Maliki, especially that his alliance with the other (winner of the largest number of votes) and supported by the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr is elusive in light of divergent visions and deep differences between the two fronts"

The sources confirm that "Moqtada al-Sadr has great admissibility to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, which is difficult task Maliki."

The media office of Vice President Nuri al-Maliki, announced earlier in the day, the latter's intention to visit Kuwait.

The Director of the Information Office, Vice President of the Republic, Hisham Rikabi, in a statement, "Nuri Kamal al-Maliki is heading to the State of Kuwait on an official visit

Will take one day during which he will meet with a number of officials, headed by Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, in order to consolidate fraternal relations and achieve common interests for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples. Finished (1)

Thank You Yota. I wish him the Worst of Luck . I thought his passport was restricted to use only in Iran . Anyway.  It seems they are giving him a glimmer of hope distracting him from causing mayhem while they get their government for Iraq's bright future together.  Who knows ? Maybe there might be an arrest warrant waiting for him in one of the surrounding countries ?
