Isn't half of or nearly all of this 40 trillion in the reserves of other countries or world banks and didn't the US along with everyone else blow up a lot of this cash when they went after ISIS and Dash? Is this really out there to collect or is it just on the books to never be recovered?

10 YL, my exact first reaction to reading that. They just had to say "In the coming days", which translates to between next week and friggen eternity! But hey, as of today, were closer than we've ever been, right?:rake:

One step closer to the end ( of this ride ) of “ friggen eternity “  :twothumbs: 🤪

Anyone notice the rate of the USD/IQD has not moved more than 1% for almost 90 days now? Is this another test of stability or just the new norm of the tight control the CBI now has from taking in all that chunky 💰

It hasn't been 1% for almost 90 days...I wish! March 15 of this year was the first day it went within 2%.

".....Thus, with the activation of the role of the work axes of the National Financial Inclusion Program, in which the introduction of technologies through ATM units, the dissemination of banking awareness and the protection of the public, will play a major role in the withdrawal of the condensed cash mass, Rliun dinars of the total mass of cash issued by the Central Bank, amounting to about forty trillion dinars."

This is the "mattress money" they speak of, and a certain Guru insists that there can never be a revaluation of the dinar because of all this "mattress money" still outside the banks.  Forty trillion dinars is a helluva-lot of money.

The article is saying that the CBI has a plan to get this money out of the mattresses and into the banks through education of the public and banking incentives.

My question is - How long is this going to take?????

Thanks for the replies! Yes I was looking at XE I should have clarified... Things seem to be right for the RV to happen at any moment. I know everyone would like to see it happen after all this time. If anyone ever accuses me of being impatient after this I'll give them a packet of grape seeds and say call me when you want to sell your wine...
