Amazing. These fools couldn't pass gas the last 4 years. Now, in danger of losing their jobs and immunity, they can meet, write a new law, read it and vote on it in a matter of days. It's a lame duck parliament, so still remains to be seen if they have the authority to do so. It's like being involved in a car crash, then having the afterthought to say 'let me go back and take more notice of that red light I just drove through'. Bunch of idiots.

Advisor to Abadi: coming to economic risks

Advisor to the slaves: coming to economic risks

The economic adviser to the Iraqi government, the appearance of Mohammed Saleh on Wednesday of economic risks threatening Iraq if the process of forming the government exceeded the specified time limits.

Expectations of the delay in the formation of the Iraqi government because of the complexities imposed by the results of the recent elections that took place on the 12 of this May and the accompanying protests and appeals and attempts to cancel the results in whole or in part, the latest decisions of the Iraqi parliament in this regard.

"There is a short period of natural transition to be borne by the national economy until the parliamentary session is changed, and it does not exceed one month," Saleh told Twilight News.

"If the formation of the parliament and the emergence of an executive authority or a new government are to take place outside of normal times, this will have a detrimental effect on economic life," he said.

"Among these risks is the transformation of the government and executive authority into the so-called conduct of business, which weakens its role in the drawing or adoption of any future economic programs and important future and the absence of signs that encourage investment or economic decisions in the market and postpone until the statement of position on the direction of the next government "He said.

Following the publication of the results, which led to the issuance of the alliance, "Saaun" backed by the Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, and the list of "Fatah" backed by factions close to Iran, followed by the list of "victory" led by Prime Minister Haider Abadi, protested political figures in the window of power in years , And called for re-counting and counting or canceling the election results.

Experts believe the growing fraud allegations may be linked to a frustrated political reaction because of their loss of power, rather than to a possible political earthquake in a country determined to close a three-year war against the organization of an Islamic state.

According to informed political sources that the political blocs winning in the recent elections, ended the stage of discussions and dialogues and took the pulse, and moved to a new stage includes identifying the parties to the largest parliamentary bloc that will form the government.

After identifying the largest bloc, the political parties will enter into new negotiations aimed at selecting the prime minister and distributing positions and ministries.

However, all these stages were suspended because of the changes witnessed by the electoral scene.

Source reveals parliamentary move to take "decisive decision" on UNHCR

Shafaq News / revealed a parliamentary source, on Wednesday, about mobility within the Iraqi Council of Representatives, aims to withdraw the hand of the Electoral Commission and the end of its work.

The source told Ashqaf News that "Article 2 of the Electoral Commission of the Electoral Commission states that the House of Representatives to monitor the performance and functions of the Commission," noting that "this oversight extends its procedures in the management of the electoral process."

The source, who asked not to be named, said that "the Commission was formed through the vote of the House of Representatives on them, as well as the hand is withdrawn and terminated by the same mechanism."

He added that "the current movement is not limited to the losers, but also includes winners," without specifying the number and blocks to which they belong.

The Iraqi parliament has already passed a previous session with a number of resolutions, including the cancellation of the results of the ballot in stations outside the country, and in camps for the displaced, in addition to the re-counting and sorting about 10% of the election results, but legal and parliamentary sources confirm that what is issued by the Iraqi parliament takes the degree "Recommendation" and not obligation.

This is all good news. Now the Arabs can stop pretending they actually believe in democracy. Now some strongman will take over.....Under Saddam the Iraqi Dinar traded at over $2 American, so now that the sham of democracy has been exposed, Iraqis can revert to their normal cultural habits. I could care less if democracy fails there. Not my business, not my choice. Not my country. I only want to do business with Arabs and Kurds, not tell them how to run their country. So let's get on with the business of business, investing in Iraq, better financial rules, law and order one way or another, and trading their currencies internationally, and letting capital flow in. The world wants to make Iraq a very, very wealthy place, and the potential is certainly there. The potential for wealth creation in Iraq is staggering, so my only hope is they are not stupid, and don't blow this once in a thousand year opportunity....don't "kill the goose that laid the golden egg"....you know the story.....it's not a fairy tale, that story is being played out, in Iraq. I have friends that work in the middle east and there are parts like Qatar of it that are very, very well off....very rich. Iraq has that potential, and should concentrate on making money, rather than high minded ideals of "democracy".....get rich first, then talk about "democracy"....if you like. However, the MP of the Tamdun Alliance, Sharaouq Abayji, considered that "there is a clear confusion by the Electoral Commission and escape from facing the facts about the existence of manipulation and forgery," usually that "the Commission does not have the capacity to face the facts."
"All the ways are available to the House of Representatives and we will require the Commission to follow up on measures that may reach the withdrawal of the hand of the Commission," she added. "The next sessions will witness the vote on the law with full satisfaction of the existence of genuine solidarity of all deputies."
