I went see this one in a theatre many years ago and I got really struck by it....Theatre actors ( when good in their act) can be really way more effective than movie actors somehow...

 

Then I bought the book.....Incredibly good imho....Please keep in mind this was written around 1863 ( 1st publication date) so it was indeed extremely modern  back then...

On an Italian right-wing  TV channel Rete4-Channel4 (owned by Berlusconi) last night a Rome fascist called "Brasile" ( the tattoed guy) threatens a woman journalist  provoking the reaction of a leftist journalist ...They almost get  to a physical contact

 

The leftist calls the fascist  " Fascio di merda" ( Sxxt fascist).

 

The program host ( right-wing) minimizes the episode and says he's going to kick out both ( fascist and leftist) which is clearly wrong as the stuff started with the fascist guy's threat toward the woman journalist...The fascist guy is plain aggressive
