The session is scheduled to witness the election of the presidency of the provincial parliament and the swearing-in of deputies. 
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan has announced earlier in the day that it will not participate in the session of the Parliament of Kurdistan, in the event of non-compliance by the Kurdistan Democratic Party agreement February 5.
