Wow you guys are harsh. Wasn't it Abadi who fought a three year war against ISIS and won, who ended the Kurds referendum for independence, reclaimed the disputed areas in Kirkuk without firing a shot and helped pave the way for financial and banking reform? 

Did Yall forget the Shiite show that Maliki handed him? Did you forget that Maliki is irans stooge and basically untouchable? Did you forget that oil prices fell from 120/bbl to 30/bbl forcing untold austerity measures?

Abadi got railroaded hard by Malikis media outlets and fake news. That man did more for the country while under serious duress than Maliki did in 8 years of office and didn't steal 50 billion while he was there.

what corruption was Abadi responsible for? He is the one who wanted to end the sectarian quotas and put technocrats in office who actually know how to run a country but got cockblocked at every turn.

You're right Mr. U - Abadi did allot of good and we all hoped he'd be the one to get the ball over the Goal Line. Looking at the possibility of going into year 16 of this wait has left me a might Jaded & Grumpy lately.

"Kurdish, and specifically the Kurdistan Democratic Party, has not yet decided to participate in the government," a Kurdish official told the New Arab that "he is hesitant and fears that the government of Abdul Mahdi as the governments of his predecessors (Haider al-Abadi and Nuri al-Maliki) Move one step to resolve the crises of Kurdistan.
