The transfer of a French site for MP Zia al-Asadi, director of the political bureau of the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr said that Sadr withdrew from the National Alliance to express his lack of confidence in the leader of the coalition of state law, the Prime Minister for the two previous sessions, Nuri al-Maliki .

"We have taken up arms against American intervention in Iraq, but this does not mean that we have to allow the presence of Iranians, Turks or other Arabs,  " al-Asadi said in an interview with the French website Orientxxi  published on Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

"It is positive to have a good relationship with the neighborhood, but that does not mean that these countries have the right to interfere in our affairs," he said.

"There are three different levels in our movement. There is Muqtada, the leader, and there are the elite (although I do not like this description, we are rather mediators, civilian advisers, like me) and there are supporters who trust him with full confidence," al-Asadi said.

Asadi said that Sadr did not need to ask their views or negotiate because they will follow whatever decision he will take. Sometimes, we consult with him and discuss the various possible avenues, but he himself chooses the direction we will take. Before making any decision, Muqtada al-Sadr is consulting his relatives in Iraq and abroad. "

For his part, said Abboud al-Issawi, a representative of the coalition of the rule of law, led by Nuri al-Maliki, said that "the alliance announced between the leader of the followers of Moqtada al-Sadr, and the leader of Fatah Hadi al-Amiri, and the President of the coalition victory Haider Abadi and the National Coalition and the stream of national wisdom, is not fixed."

He added that "the coalition did not form the next government, and will change because it is not fixed, and because the process of counting and sorting by hand has not yet been resolved and the results have not yet been ratified by the Federal Court."

He explained that "these moves are a race to win the interests and the search for gains and impose the conditions for the formation of the government," asserting that "the main pillar did not constitute the adoption of the largest bloc."

On Saturday evening, al-Sadr and al-Abadi announced the alliance of their electoral lists (101 parliamentary seats, according to the unverified results), according to a program that includes 8 basic principles, to become the "victory", the fourth of the first ten lists, approaching Sadr .

mayahi-500x259.jpg

BAGHDAD, June 27 (Reuters) - The wisdom stream led by Ammar al-Hakim has reduced the risk of going to a caretaker government after the end of parliament's term on July 1, and stressed that previous sessions have delayed the formation of governments for many months.

A member of the Political Bureau of the current wisdom Mohammed al-Mayahi said in a televised statement, "Iraq Press," that "advocates to extend the life of parliament are trying to politicize the file of the elections," noting that "the parliament has no role to play after the judiciary authorized re-counting and sorting and consider appeals And complaints. "

Al-Mayahi stressed that "Parliament has not been held accountable for any corruption over four years of legislative work, so how can it hold those involved in the fraud operations? ", Explaining that" those seeking to extend the work of the parliament are planning to cancel the elections in the event of the results of counting and sorting the village manual of the current results. "

"The extension of the work of the parliament is a flagrant violation of the Constitution and the introduction of greater violations," he said, waving "a collective dismissal of deputies of the wisdom in the event of parliament voted on the proposal to extend its work."

He pointed to the possibility of "the emergence of protests that increase the political tension suffered by Iraq at this stage in the event of Parliament has taken a decision to extend its work," calling on all political forces to "respect the judiciary, which has taken upon itself to resolve the electoral file."

He concluded by saying that "the experts confirmed the possibility of resolving the file of complaints of more than 3000 complaints and ratify the results of the elections within 8 days in the event of the Board of Commissioners in charge of manual counting on Saturday, which reduces the current period of work of the current government for the disposal of business and the remaining period of the meeting The first session of the new parliament and thus go to form a new government soon. BAGHDAD / Al-Ghad Press:

Political sources revealed, on Thursday, near the dissolution of the alliance between the opening of the led by Hadi al-Amiri, and others led by Moqtada al-Sadr because of the President of the coalition of victory Haider Abadi.

The sources said, "Al-Gharab Press," that "Amiri decided, in agreement with the leaders of the conquest of the Alliance of the alliance with others because of the lack of consultation with him on the entry of Abbadi with them to the alliance and this Maadh (amazement) to him," indicating that "Amiri knew that his (hopes) Access to the next prime minister has diminished after the alliance with al-Abbadi because of the support of the leader of others to take over the leader of victory prime minister on preconditions. "

She explained that "Amiri told Fatah leaders to prepare for the announcement of the withdrawal of others and the trend towards a coalition of law led by Nuri al-Maliki and Sunni and Kurdish blocs to announce the new alliance," noting that "Maliki is making contacts and moving on his part to form the largest bloc in cooperation with Amiri."

It is noteworthy that political sources familiar with the "Al-Ghad Press", last Thursday, the collapse of the political alliance between the bloc of Saunon led by the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr, and the alliance led by the leader of the Badr Organization and leader of the popular crowd Hadi al-Ameri in the coming days, Ameri, came after pressure and messages "lined" from Tehran to them.

This revealed a source close to the leader of a coalition of state law, Nuri al-Maliki, "Al-Ghad Press," last Wednesday, that the latter seeks to arrange the Shiite political house to form the next government.

US center: Tehran will not rule out Sadr but will not give him leadership

In the policy of  June 28, 2018 to the US Center: Tehran will not rule out Sadr but will not give him the leadership closed 44 visits

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iran's preferred choice is to contain the leader of Sadr's movement, Moqtada al-Sadr, after winning the election, in a way that does not exclude him from forming the next Iraqi government, but at the same time "no Give it an influential role . "

"Containment of Sadr is a common goal for Iranians and Americans at the same time," the researchers at the American Center said during a recent research. "They lack the political power to counter Iranian infiltration into Iraqi security institutions.

"Muqtada al-Sadr's national agenda undermines Iran's undisputed influence in Iraq," says Muhanad Salloum, a co-lecturer at the University of Exeter. "Tehran supports a national sectarian insurgency in Iraq with the aim of creating strategic areas of influence throughout the Middle East."

On the other hand, Sadr adopts a national approach based on strengthening Iraq's independence and sovereignty, which means that Iran's sectarian model will face the challenge of Iraqi nationalism supported by Sadr.

"Iran's influence is seen as a refuge through its strong relations with the local militias trained and funded by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard," said Hareth Hassan, a fellow of the Central European University, who believes that "Moqtada al-Sadr is not considered anti-Iranian, The best thing to describe is that it is an Iraqi national. "

"There are two main types of dynamics that have shaped Sadr's position over Iranian influence over the past few years. The first is to support Iran, like the Asaib Ahl al-Haq and the Hezbollah movement, These groups were at the military, financial and political levels, which sometimes posed a threat to Sadr's influence in the heart of his strongholds. The second, because of his predominantly Shiite-backed base of supporters, also adopted an active opposition role and a reform agenda targeting some close Shiite parties and personalities Of the Iranians, led by former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.

"While Iranians may not be interested in seriously opposing Sadr's internal agenda, they will continue to monitor his political options to see if they can reduce the influence of their allies and serve the interests of their adversaries such as the United States and Saudi Arabia. The preferred option for the Iranians may be to contain Sadr in an arrangement that does not exclude him or give him a dominant role at the same time, which is a common goal with the Americans. "

For his part, Joost Hiltermann, director of the Middle East and North Africa program at the International Crisis Group, said: "No matter how unpopular, it is not going to happen. Apart from the fact that it is not specifically aimed at Iran, it stands in the lookout for any kind of external intervention in Iraqi affairs , But lacks the political power to do so. "

"Whatever the shape of the ruling coalition that will see the light, and if we assume that Sadr's bloc will be part of it, his partners in the government will limit his authority."

"There is no doubt that Muqtada al-Sadr's narrow victory in the May 12 Iraqi legislative elections is a challenge," said Loualat Al-Rasheed, co-director of the civil-military relations program for Arab countries at the Carnegie Middle East Center. Iran knows the Sadrist movement as it has trained since 2003 most of its leaders militarily and ideologically . "

"In the past, the Iranians tightened their grip on this trend by implementing a policy of hard-working divisions. Some of the most prominent Sadrists split up to become the new leaders of the popular mobilization forces. Given the lack of discipline within the Sadrist movement, especially the absence of cadres, Moderate, and poor performance of Sadr's former parliamentary bloc, Iran's task of containing the Sadrists is easier than it was. "

"If Muqtada al-Sadr follows his preferred style of street politics and waving militias, Iran may unleash its agents against him," she concluded. They are, after all, the heirs, albeit illegitimate, of Muqtada's father, Ayatollah Mohammad Sadiq al-Sadr, who was killed by Saddam Hussein's regime in 1999. "

It is noteworthy that this visit is the second for Kawtharani after the Iraqi elections held on 12 May last, visited the official in the Lebanese "Hezbollah" on May 15, and met with leaders of political forces, "Shiite" to urge them to form an expanded coalition capable of forming The new government. A member of the alliance "victory", led by Haider Abadi, Fadel Asadi, the "new Arab", "The prolongation of the negotiations led to the entry of new parties on the crisis line , and any talk about a final agreement between the two blocs is not true." "The differences are personal between the leaders of the Shiite alliance, some of them a party, and the evidence is to negotiate the ministerial posts from now."
A member of the Sadrist movement, who asked not to be named for the "new Arab", that "Maliki will agree to alliance with any other bloc to ensure that it will not be submitted to the judiciary on charges of financial corruption or sectarian crimes committed against a major component in Iraq, Mosul and deals of corrupt weapons, or imaginary projects in the south, or massacres Spyker and Saqlawiyah during his reign. " "The Sadrists will not allywith Maliki, even if it is against the prime minister, this is one of the main reasons for the current dispute."

Maliki will agree to an alliance with any bloc to ensure that it will not be submitted to the judiciary

"

Meanwhile, the Iraqi parliament failed to hold its last session before the end of its constitutional termSaturday night. Parliament was unable to hold the meeting because of the lack of quorum, was scheduled to be during the session on Thursday, the vote on the age of Parliament and be considered effective until the ratification of the results of the new elections. The speaker of the parliament, Salim al-Jubouri, on Thursday, that the mandate of the Council will end Saturday unless the votes of the deputies to extend until the completion of the recount of the votes of the elections, indicating that the recount manual will begin next week. Officials and members of the parliament attributed strong differences to the fact that most members did not attend the extension session. The leader of the alliance, "Fatah", Saleh al-Hasnawi, the "new Arab", that "there are significant objections to the extension of the work of parliament, and did not succeed today's session (yesterday) There is mobility for one contract on Friday as a last chance." He pointed out that "the purpose of the session is to issue a resolution confirming that the counting and manual sorting for the whole of Iraq and not in part"A member of the ruling coalition, MP Raad Almas, told the" New Arab "that" an agreement for the heads of blocs on the boycott of the last session of parliament prevented the convening, "noting that" the parliament He wanted to extend his work and emphasize that the counting and counting of the hands of the votes of voters are in all Iraq, which does not enjoy the consensus of the leaders of the blocks of the political parliament.
