Thanks Umbertino for your honesty and clarification. I know Immigration is a "hot-button" subject in most Countries in the world right now, especially in the United States of America.

It certainly is, Indraman ..And I do understand that our thoughts and opinions about the issue depend much (obviously) on what goes on in our immediate Country / reality and of course also on our very sensitivities on the subject.....

How is your country running with out a Gov't for 3 months ? There may be a simple answer I just don't understand it or does the old group retain power till elections are held ?

Hello dear PP....We have  been having a Gov't ( an alliance between 2 Parties) since June 1...

I do not like it as it's leaning too much on the right wing ( esp. one component of the alliance while the other party has more different souls inside.....).....

I sincerely hope the 2 Parties argue roughly and so we'll go to polls again ....In the hope something much better will come out ....

That's my personal opinion, obviously...

Thanks for asking, Dear Canadian Friend....Wish you and yours a fantastic weekend

Italy's interior minister refuses to let migrants on coastguard ship disembark

Italy's Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said over 60 migrants on board an Italian coastguard ship that docked in Sicily on Thursday were "not authorized to disembark", pending an investigation into a reported mutiny

Umb's note: with allegedly 2-3 People involved? A mutiny??? What happened seemingly  was that some folks realized the ship had changed route and so they were scared as hell they were getting taken back to the Libyan hell they tried so much to escape from...Probably some got alterated because of that...Of course if some objective accountability gets evidenced and proven   the judicial system will judge them and punish them...But that's a judge's job and task, not a (racist) Interior affairs Minister's...JMHO

Coast Guard Ship Diciotti Arrives in Trapani Carrying Alleged 'Violent Hijackers'

The Italian Coast Guard vessel Diciotti docked at the port of Trapani on Thursday, July 12, carrying 67 migrants who were rescued from the coast of Libya, including a group who allegedly threatened crew members of the ship that initially saved them.According to a report from Agenzia Giornalistica Italia, several of the migrants on board the Diciotti had threatened crew of the private vessel Vos Thalassa, which rescued them from Libya over the weekend of July 8. After the Diciotti docked in Trapani, the 67 migrants on board the ship were unable to dock until the ones involved in the alleged violence were identified.“Before I give any authorization, I am waiting to know the names, surnames and nationality of the violent hijackers who must get off the Diciotti in handcuffs,” Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said, as reported by ANSA. “I won’t authorize the disembarkment until I have guarantees that the delinquents who hijacked a ship with violence will spend some time in jail and then be taken back to their own countries.”According to The Telegraph, police entered the ship and questioned those involved in the threats, allegedly two men from Sudan and Ghana. The latest update in Agenzia Giornalistica Italia’s report indicates the men were identified by 9:30pm, about seven hours after the ship first docked, and the disembarking of the other migrants was about to commence. This footage shows the Diciotti arriving at the port of Trapani. Not several...It has just now been confirmed it's 2 migrants alone who were really afraid to be taken back to Libya....It's not clear as of  yet what they really did ( if there were threats, verbal and/or physical towards the ship's personnel or not...But the ship capt. called for an Italian Coast Guard ship to come for help....And the Coast Guard ship took on board all 67 migrants and headed for Trapani, Sicily)....

All facts will have to be investigated and proved...The two were taken away by police  as soon as they reached port
