Indraman
I would say that this is the article confirming the rumors in the Guru thread. Someone lashed out pretty hard the other day...they may need to make an apology! Indy Edited April 13, 2018 by Indraman 1

Someone lashed out pretty hard the other day...they may need to make an apology! Indy People are to quick to lash out. There is some truth to this article but there is more. ATMs can be loaded with both the old currency & the lower denoms. That's why the education of the people & merchants are so critical. Once lower denoms are fully accepted, ATMs can be re-programed. Proof...Kuwait Nat'l Bank ATMs programed & loaded to disperse Dinar, USD & EUROS. Other banks in the region like Bahrain only dispersed in the local currency. I often used Kuwait ATMs & sometimes dispersed USD but mostly Kuwait Dinars. Only credit cards from yor local bank with the star plus are accepted. They're Int'l. 1 5
rico1
I agree about the ATM program. I have been to Kuwait and UAE and at this time in South Korea and I have been able to get both local and US currency out of the ATM's, but as pointed out it does depend on the bank and system the ATM is connected to.
rico1
Also the Korean won is at about 1071 won to the dollar at this time and the ATM's have no problem spitting out 50,000 won note's. about 45 dollars U.S. Edited April 15, 2018 by rico1
