All great thoughts and opinions, CL.  The only thing I question would be Trey Gowdy as AG.  He's a man of great integrity and a staunch believer in the rule of law....I can't imagine him doing Donald's personal bidding.  The law will always be Trey's guide, not being Trump's lap dog.  As always, just my opinion.

Technically the AG isn't suppose to be anyones lapdog........not the President,  nor the "deep state" ....or any of those driving the ship..........this is why Gowdy would be perfect.....

Although once he was done, there probably wouldn't be many swamp creatures...(both sides).....left........

And that might be a really good thing for "We the People"..........

There is so much corruption, being investigated by the corrupt.........(both sides)

Yep.  As I attempted to put into words earlier, Gowdy would be a fantastic choice as America's AG.....and a terrible choice as DJT's AG.

People who may want a coup against Trump better pull their heads out of their butts and remember the millions who back him and who are getting pissed and the attacks.  The attacks against Trump are attacks against the common person who voted for him.  We are tired and WILL be acknowledged.

Updated | President Donald Trump is so angry about the FBI’s raid on his personal lawyer Michael Cohen, that he is spending much of time brooding, eating or just watching TV.

The president has openly expressed his frustration with the Monday raid on Cohen. “Attorney–client privilege is dead! ” he tweeted on Tuesday, following up with another message that simply read: “A TOTAL WITCH HUNT!!! ” in a repeat of the language the president has previously used to describe the ongoing probe into possible connections between Russia's interference in the 2016 campaign and the Trump team.

Several people close to the president told The New York Times that Trump had what they described as a “meltdown” over the raid, which was related to Cohen making a $130,000 hush payment to the porn star Stormy Daniels. Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, allegedly had an affair with the president around the time his youngest son, Barron Trump, was born.

Prior to the raid, which renewed concerns over whether Trump would attempt to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the president was reportedly in a bad mood—spending the weekend doing little other than dining at the Trump International Hotel, watching Fox News and bemoaning his lack of support. Two people familiar with the situation told The Times the president had watched a Fox News piece about the so-called “deep state” working to bring him down, pushing him further into a bad mood.

After he viewed the program, Trump told advisers he wanted to get rid of officials in the Department of Justice who were working against him, including Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

This isn't the first time the president's eating and TV viewing habits have made the news. His behavior in the White House has been closely watched by both those working for him and casual political observers. Former Trump campaign manager Cory Lewandowki wrote a book last year, Let Trump Be Trump, that detailed the president's preference for eating McDonalds sandwiches, drinking soda and ordering well-done steaks with ketchup.

Meanwhile, the president's associates told The New York Times in December that he can watch as many as eight hours of television at a time. His favorite program is reportedly Fox News's "Fox & Friends."

This article has been updated to reflect the nature of the FBI raid.

Yep, Bohica, I am with You and those like minded!

What hacks me is the disregard for Rule Of Law based on The Constitution Of The United States Of America TO INCLUDE The Ratified Bill Of Rights AND the Political Weaponization of the agency heads WITH the aiding and abetting colluders in the US Court system. Each of these instigators and accomplices MUST be identified, removed, and replaced with qualified individuals who WILL NOT succumb to political pressure AND actively enforce the law on those who would persuade them to do otherwise. Each miscreant MUST BE indicted, tried, and prosecuted with the accompanying sentences to sustain said Rule Of Law for future generations for NO ONE should be allowed to be above the law.

Barry, whatcha gonna do when they come for YOU???!!!

I don't think that fake Hawaiian Birth Certificate and that Social Security Number taken from a Connecticut dead person will help him out at all!!!

I think President Donald J Trump knew how the deck was stacked BEFORE he ran for President Of The United States Of America. He likely did not know ALL the players OR their extent of influence BUT all the miscreants' activities to date give a good idea of who they are and who needs to be identified, removed, indicted, tried, and prosecuted. ALL the agencies and the court appointees will be much, much better to serve We the People for exercise of Rule Of Law based on The Constitution Of The United States Of America TO INCLUDE The Ratified Bill Of Rights in posterity for now and future generations after President Donald J Trump does the house cleaning. President Donald J Trump IS NOT powerless and the miscreants will learn the hard way how far they were from Rule Of Law when President Donald J Trump is done with them. President Donald J Trump knows who can enforce Rule Of Law and will actually do so since he has had time enough to see for himself who is up to the tasks at hand.

Hey Shabs, the only problem I have with Gowdy (and I really use to like him) is that since he has decided not to seek re-election, he seems to have softened or flip flopped on some key issues and that troubles me. But then again he is a politician. And he probably be tougher than most anyone else they could put in the position.

It's difficult for me to think of Gowdy as a politician.  He always seems to be all about the law.  I mean in those H. Clinton hearings, he went after her like a bulldog for hours on end....so I tend to give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the law, and therefore won't question his judgment.  I simply think that he would be a bad fit as DJT's Attorney General because his integrity and respect for the law will be what guides him.....not Donald's orders with regard to personal wishes or vendettas.  Trey simply seems to be an island of one when it comes to putting the law above party.

Trump’s latest tirade suggests he is moving closer to firing Mueller

On Twitter, Trump blamed ‘bad blood with Russia’ on the special counsel investigation and described the atmosphere in the White House as ‘calm and calculated’

So it seems it cursing and calling people names is now acceptable as long as you make it sound like a joke to the person you're doing it to or You misspelled the word. I think I'm going to have to ask Adam Montana about this

"there wouldn't be many swamp creatures...(both sides)....left"...........................That IMO would be a good thing! I truly believe we need to start ridding ourselves of the power trash that is DC. If an elected official has been in office over two terms....it's his/hers last term. Two terms max....NO lifetime benefits!!! Lastly once out of office...unable to work with special interests groups or become a lobbyist. Lets get folks that want to serve the PEOPLE not themselves.

No need to ask Adam - I can tell you that cursing and calling people names is not acceptable. If it continues, I will #1 lock down this thread and #2 give every offender a couple of days reprieve from posting as well as 2 warning points. Is that understood by everyone ---- I really am sick of having to treat adults like 2nd grade children. All of you need to grow up and treat others with the same respect and compassion that you want in return.  It's a 2 way street!

The political elite has been grooming the federal agencies for many years and the mask has just been pulled off.  The Democrats and liberal left scream Nazi while all the time they are pulling out of Hitler's playbook.  Under Obama they have been caught to having been weaponizing the IRS to attack conservative groups.  Under Obama the FBI has proven itself to completely ignore all acts to cover up federal crimes while attacking Trump.  Hitler has the Gestapo as a group to terrorize any and all opposition.  They were a law unto themselves and were above any question.  The IRS, FBI, NSA, CIA have all become nothing more than attack forces.  As a kid I used to have ultimate awe for FBI and CIA.  It was at one time a dream to be part of either CIA or Treasury.  It used to be that the FBI represented to pinnacle of law enforcement.  All these agencies have become so tainted and tarnished by being an arm of political force and influence.  The Democrats and Liberal left must disarm the populous.  They know that as long as the populous are armed that there would never be a simple takeover.  If it is made 'law' that firearms are illegal then they are able under the mask of 'enforcing the law' to take what ever actions needed to force total disarmament.  We will NEVER go quietly.
