The US envoy to Syria, James Jeffrey , hinted  after a meeting of the small group countries  to the possibility of Washington applying the model of northern Iraq in north-east Syria,  Jeffrey revealed that  President Donald Trump has different options on the engagement of US forces recalling the US presence in northern Iraq during the period of economic blockade a year later 1991 and the imposition of an air embargo on areas of northern Iraq in addition to providing material, political and logistical support for Kurdish parties to organize  legislative elections in the Kurdistan region and the establishment of the government and parliament of the region.
