Floridian, thanks for the article. I don't recall banks being robbed lately (could have missed it) and this article states Israeli security will be protecting banks, precious goods, and some government officials. Other than our guys, I don't know of a more fierce and accurate group than Israelis.

The officer added that “the existing companies do not resemble Blackwater, and the promoter of this matter is more important, its functions do not exceed the protection of some of the facilities and banks and the transfer of important personalities and accompanying the precious goods and the support system">support of some government officials

I was very happy to see Arabs hiring Israelis.  I don't know if this is a "first", but it seems like a big break-through to me.  Maybe peace in the Mid-East can be achieved after all.

The only "precious goods" I can think of are lower denominations!

Good Eye, Carrello, AND The Best Of Your Evening And The Rest Of Your Weekend To You!!! :tiphat:

I read it in the article and in what You noted but it didn't click until You mentioned it - to me, THAT is very, very plausible!!! If nothing else, the timing is EXTREMELY odd!!!

Go Moola Nova (YEAH, BABY!!!)!!!

And the best to to you, Synopsis!  The article also makes a point to say the security details are NOT like Blackwater, not mercenaries, protecting precious goods. Sounds like transport security detail to me.

If I were transporting cash through the country and the streets of Baghdad i can't say I would rely on any Iraq security. But Israelis?  Even Maliki would just cower in a doorway and just wave.

I think I need to get some vinegar....my dinar goggles are really fogged up. :)

Dinar sellers still can't seem to get their hands on the 10k ,5k  notes on down that are uncirculated . I check this almost daily and even call .No response . Some sites still display the 50 which was withdrawn 2 years ago . These big denoms just don't jive with other international currencies . The 50s may have been withdrawn to be reprinted in polymer so they can work in atm's . In my mind this points to an inevitable rv . I would welcome any info that proves me wrong about what uncirculated notes are available .
