Al-Nusairi said in an interview with "Economy News" that "the Association of Banks will organize 10 workshops and seminars cultural, economic and banking, including the dissemination of culture and banking awareness, run by his professors and specialists in the strategy of financial inclusion and stability in the financial system and monetary system and challenges of the banking sector and reform strategy and the contributions of banks in community initiatives The project of Baghdad, the empowerment of young people, the empowerment of the elite and the financing of small and medium enterprises. On the sidelines of the exhibition, a new signing ceremony will be held for researchers, professors and specialists. 
Al Nusairi called on all banks to participate in the activities of the fair and to actively contribute to the banking awareness, the settlement of salaries, the promotion and delivery of their banking products and their modern technical services to the public directly and using modern educational and educational methods in accordance with the banking awareness regulations supervised and monitored by the Central Bank. The Baghdad International Book Fair (BIBF) kicked off on Thursday morning from March 29 to April 8 with the participation of more than 600 publishing houses and 250 Iraqi, Arab and foreign publishing houses. 

The Baghdad International Book Fair in its current session is one of the largest exhibitions of the book (Baghdad) since the establishment of its courses, that is from 1978 until now. 

The exhibition hosts from outside Iraq; the Algerian novelist Wassini Al-A'araj, the Kuwaiti novelist Saud Al-Sanousi; the Kuwaiti novelist Buthaina Al-Issa; and the Lebanese critic Alawiya Sobh. 

The exhibition began as an annual tradition in 1979, where the first session was held by the Iraqi Ministry of Culture and continued in the second session in 1983 and then the cycles of 1985 and 1987, and there were stops because of the situation experienced by Iraq.

Al-Nusairi noted that the book confirms the situation and an important phenomenon and highlights the bright points that passed through Iraq, which was one of the experience of the Central Bank of Iraq.

Al-Nasiri added that the researcher will find the facts and the transparency of the Central Bank in leading and implementing monetary policy for the transition from the war on terror to peace, construction and development, in addition to taking measures and developing a strategy according to international standards on compliance, transparency and disclosure.

For his part, the Governor of the Central Bank, Ali Al-Aalak, said during the signing ceremony that the phenomenon of interaction with the book fair that we are witnessing today is a sign that Iraq is still alive and is still interested in culture in all its aspects.

The Governor pointed out that the participation of the banking sector in the exhibition, the first of its kind is a good indicator and came in line with what banks offer to the community of services and stimulate the central bank to interact with the community.

The governor stressed that Nasiri and what he achieved in his book came as a result of his follow-up and interest in economic affairs and his proximity to the banking sector, noting that the Central Bank of Iraq were an incentive and contributing to the preparation of the book, which highlighted what he sees on the ground and what he hears and rumor in the circles about the work of the Central Bank,

The head of the central bank's financial operations, Mahmoud Dagher, said Saturday that the central bank's three-pronged strategy has contributed to the reform and development of the banking sector.

Dagher said during a seminar held on the ground of the Baghdad International Fair entitled "Challenges of the banking sector and the reform strategy" and attended by "Economy News", "The reform carried out by the Central Bank, based on three axes, the first close the exchange rate gap, Carrying out financial inclusion and settling salaries and the third related to the process of technical development within the banking system.

He stressed that "these axes constitute the basis of the strategy of the Central Bank to develop the banking system."

During the seminar, the Director of Financial Statistics at the Central Bank talked about identifying the challenges coming from the external environment, which included public banks and the science of low capital, as well as the absence of law in the process of achieving the shortcomings of the customers towards banks.

The director of risk management at the Bank of Baghdad, Nabil Abdel-Hur Toman, talked about the political risks and their relationship to foreign investment.

"Any country with high political risk will prevent the foreign investor from coming to it," Toman said. "We need to develop a methodology and strategy for the coming years related to planning, measuring and analyzing risks to minimize their impact."

And that the reduction of risk requires the participation of the government and the central bank and investment bodies as well as the banking sector.

He pointed out that "Tuman should provide a saving investment environment to the successful investor has a sophisticated banking system and fixed laws and investment facilities for taxation," adding that "Iraq during 2014-2015 was ranked sixth in the world on the level of political risk, according to international reports" .

In turn, the financial adviser to the Association of Iraqi Private Banks, Samir Nusairi, explained during a speech at the symposium that "the challenges facing the banking sector is not the last responsible, but the structural imbalance in the economy in general."

He stressed the need for a clear methodology to overcome this structural imbalance, which is reflected in the inability of non-oil revenue and the deficit of the general budgets of the state as well as the balance of payments deficit and other aspects related to infrastructure.

He pointed out that the banking sector, under the leadership of the Central Bank of Iraq and according to the strategy of the last years 2016 2020, has been able to achieve good results in the development of the banking sector, including financial inclusion and the settlement of salaries.
