Turns out there are quite a few middle eastern exotic currencies so the story probably is true but it could be any one of 10-13 middle eastern exotic currencies (thinly traded currency ). I'd love for the IQD to hit ASAP but just trying to figure out what we're really looking at here.

Well I went to my bank in Sing Sing......(Singapore)...and axed to speak with a Wealth Manager.......I was taken to a smoky back office where a guy in a large black cowboy hat was sitting behind the desk.......He had a model F 105 Jet on his desk which he must have dropped/crashed because it was pretty busted up.  I was direct in asking about the IQD...........in a southern oklahoma drawl he s-plained "that ship sailed long ago".............he said he had sold his at $32.00 and bought this bank..........

That.s my bank story.........no better or worse than the rest.....

Good Morning DV's,

So I went this morning to my local 53rd Bank to cash a check given to me by one of my clients. While in the drive-thru the teller told me that I would have to come inside and do the transaction since my account was so new. So I come inside which I did not feel like doing , and they took me to one of the desks to complete the transaction. Long story, the young lady convinced me to open a savings account as well and we proceed to have light convo. Of course the whole time I am sitting there thinking this lady is really nice, young and I could slip in a mention of the IQD just to see what she says. So once my transaction was done and the savings set up, she said is there anything further I can help you with sir. I said ( mind you this is something I had to make up) I worked in Iraq for a year and got a lot of currency from there including some from my time in the Navy. She said oh wow that is great. I said I don't know what to do with them but maybe they are worth something. She said well I don't think we deal with IQD since they are at war right now. I said oh no that is over and done with. She looked shocked( Remember she is young and probably doesn't  watch the news let alone read the paper). So she said let me check the computer and see if we buy that. She looked it up and just like on the Wells Fargo site it said they do not buy or sell IQD. She turned the screen my ways I could see. I said oh well maybe some day. She then said if we start buying it or selling it, please come back and see us. She did  also mention she remembered customers coming and buying IQD a few years ago. I said yea i guess i'll just hold on to it just in case. Anyways. Just thought I'd share with you guys.

Wow an honest bank story that didn't come from a friend of a friend who sells fruit to the bankers wife on Sundays... How refreshing...

Thanks

Yea it just needs a pinch of pepper and a dash of salt to season it up a bit to make it not so real and believable.

Well lets see, I have been to the Prairie Lakes PNC Bank in Fishers and when doing a wire transfer to Xchange of America (it costs the same as if I were to do it in person or online) the bank manager laughed and had said he had done a lot of wire transfers for that. He said it was a scam but it was my money. Same manager who said he had never heard of Ninja Trader or Trade Station. The Chase Bank along the same road in Fishers yielded the same result but laughed at the PNC Bank manager and then agreed with him. The Chase Bank across from Hamilton Town Mall the business account manager had no information and couldn't answer my questions about the IQD. He did ask others who had no idea. Will drive past the Ruoff Mortgage Music Center (formerly Klipsch, formerly Verizon Wireless, formerly Deerpath, formerly a cornfield) then down Olio past the best high school in the area (better than Carmel Clay) Hamilton South east, past the elementary schools, across from the new evangelical church that just opened up and down to the Kroger Marketplace shopping center to get to the Chase bank on Olio Rd.  From the riders I query, they absolutely hate the new Kroger Marketplace as it sells clothes and trying to be another Walmart. They feel Kroger should just stick to selling groceries. Good thing though about two weeks ago they did open a new Ale Emporium across the street. And that Geist restaurant, further on down, changes its name about every three years, why is anyone's guess. Klipsch was just bought by Ruoff Mortgage who has been making a significant footprint in the area. Maybe I might mosey on down the road to visit the Chase bank on Olio Rd a five minute jaunt. Might stop in at the Peyton Manning St. Vincent Hospital and for lunch visit Culver's. Good news is they did build a liquor store across from St. Vincents and Saxony.

It sounds like a true bank story but I will need the address of that bank just for confirmation sake. 🤓
