1rustycoin
Samuel Adamson February 18 at 6:57pm · Australian Gun Law Update Here's a thought to warm some of your hearts.... From: Ed Chenel, A police officer in Australia Hi Yanks, I thought you all would like to see the real figures from Down Under. It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by a new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by our own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in: Australia-wide, homicides are up 6.2 percent, Australia-wide, assaults are up 9.6 percent; Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)! In the state of Victoria..... lone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent.(Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not and criminals still possess their guns!) While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since the criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed. There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins andassaults of the elderly, while the resident is at home. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in 'successfully ridding Australian society of guns....' You won't see this on the American evening news or hear your governor or members of the State Assembly disseminating this information. The Australian experience speaks for itself. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws affect only the law-abiding citizens. Take note Americans, before it's too late! Will you be one of the sheep to turn yours in? WHY? You will need it. FORWARD TO EVERYONE ON YOUR EMAIL LIST. DON'T BE A MEMBER OF THE SILENT MAJORITY. BE ONE OF THE VOCAL MINORITY WHO WON 'T STAND FOR NONSENSE AUSTRALIA: MORE VIOLENT CRIME DESPITE GUN BAN
MyLadiesDaddy
I personally don't think that Americans would be willing to give up their guns so easily. More likely that would be a bloodbath to make the civil war look like a Sunday school pick-nick

SgtFuryUSCZ
Even so, TANK... with the influx of terrorists into their country, as well as home-grown terrorists sprouting from their liberal view of taking in "refugees", & their close proximity in that region to the Chi-Com spread & shipping / boating piracy, hardly prudent to disarm the good guys, eh...? And we hear ya, LGD.... American Patriots won't go down without a helluva fight ! Ooh-Rah ! .

And we have Billy (goat) to thank for all that putting all those Chi-Com plants in the three letter government organizations who are (obviously) very active today. The Chi-Coms desire nothing more than to have the The United States Of America True Patriot disarmed for their take over. The battle is never over until it ends and then it is never really over - EVER! Will the Snowflakes and Buttercups all have to learn to speak Mandarin so no one's feelings get hurt???!!! Yep! The Snowflakes and Buttercups all need to flee their personal Safe Spaces and GREATLY increase their Cognition VIABILITY to have AND enjoy Life, Liberty, AND the Pursuit Of Happiness!!!

Willful ignorance is the state and practice of ignoring any sensory input that appears to contradict one's inner model of reality. At heart, it is almost certainly driven by confirmation bias. Willful ignorance differs from ordinary “ignorance“ — when someone is simply unaware of something — in that willfully ignorant people are fully aware of facts, resources and sources, but refuse to acknowledge them. Indeed, calling someone "ignorant" shouldn’t really be a pejorative, but intentional and willful ignorance is an entirely different matter. In practice though, the word "ignorance" has often come to mean "willful ignorance", and indeed, in many non-English languages, the word based on the same stem ("ignore") actually carries that meaning.[citation needed] Willful ignorance is sometimes referred to as tactical stupidity. https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Willful_ignorance
