MP calls for closure of parl't cafeteria to reach quorum

MP of the State of Law Coalition Abbas al-Bayati called on Tuesday for the full closure of the Parliament cafeteria, to make sure that MPs attend the sessions.

In a press statement, Bayati said that the Parliament cafeteria is supposed to be a place for rest between the sessions, but many MPs leave the sessions  completely and hang out in the cafeteria.

Bayati asserted that these behavior causes the parliament to not reach the legal quorum,  leaving it crippled and unable to pass any legislation.

Could these buffoons look any dumber ?? Maybe they should close the hospitals until people quit having babies. Close the airports to prevent aviation disasters. Better yet, close McDonalds until they learn how to make crispy french fries. Iraq is no longer a 3rd World Country. This stupidity puts them Out of this World. Folks at that Kuwait conference are going to love this.

These people are spoiled little children that truly need to be reeked ack into reality. Their behavior should be in the news throughout all of Iraq as unacceptable! Should be more then 15 days suspension. If they can’t do any better then that they shouldn’t even be in the building at all...  This has been brought up before and has obviously not been effectively dealt with yet.   🤨

You guys gotta admit watching a Falafel 🥙 eating contest is way more interesting than passing the HCL and the nation’s Budget!  “Let the people eat cake” as we dine on government cafeteria paid by tax payers and foreign investors!

Dumb @$$es everyone! Hope those doing that swing from a noose after this utter nonsense!

Abadi needs to hurry up and get this RV so he doesn’t lose the next election... and my guess is Malaki is the one telling the parliamentarians to stay in the cafeteria or he’ll kill their families..... Malaki has to go! Hopefully in a body bag

Other side of the coin.,., bet they are all sick and tired of the bickering and crying. Let’s face it, if they are present or not, a few bad apples can effectively stop any progress in Parliment. Till they fix that nothing will be resolved as Abadi is a negotiator, not one to just give and give them their way. Until Maliki is back in the saddle, most likely Parliment will continue on like it is. They need to take the 800 billion back from Maliki first, then hang em high, immediately!
