1st February, 2018

The economic expert Abdul-Hassan al-Shammari, that the suspension of projects and the absence of employment opportunities and career grades led to an annual increase in the unemployment rate as the state can not employ all the unemployed but can provide employment opportunities through activating the private sector.

Al-Shammari said that "young people consider creative energy to be the machine which can be exploited by activating the small, medium and large industries as well as other sectors of agriculture, tourism and others, and reduce the external imports to maximize the country's resources, noting that the industry in Iraq was before 30% Of the general budget while the agricultural sector 15%, ie, more than 45% of the federal budget non-oil revenues.

He added that because of the absence of economic visions and government plans to promote development sectors, the crisis in the country has worsened, including unemployment, pointing to the country suffers from underemployment, with the number of employees about 4 million and a half employees.  According to the United Nations that the work of the Iraqi employee does not exceed 17 minutes In the circles of the state, which means that the state departments suffer from disguised unemployment by more than 66%.

He pointed out that all government development plans are unsuccessful because they lack the economic visions and the facts of the current reality and benefit only official organizations.

According to recent statistics, Iraq is at the forefront of the Middle East with an unemployment rate of 59% of the labor force, 31% temporary unemployment and 43% of the unemployment rate. The percentage of unemployed women is estimated at 85% in Iraq.

Abadi better head to the Kuwait conference today, on his knees. There's a lot of begging to do come Feb. 12-14th if he thinks this report will help his plea for $100 BILLION. ;)

The only reason they got 17 minutes work done was because their underwater internet cable was cut.

...This is actually a potential for growth...There's a certain percentage of these stats that are prime sellection to have long term growth in economic ...Iraq has a very high percentage of young adults that are assets to build Iraq's economy...The worker is always the true-asset to any economy...Iraq's main objective is to get these (vert high numbered) unemployed citizens to be productive citizens...The kind that pay taxes...and buy like a drunk sailor on shore-leave...This would be a very promising article to any business looking to start-up new projects within Iraq...but have issues with filling the positions...Every citizen that is hired already lives in the communities involved...and has interests in the local economy...To me this article just outlines the potential waiting to be activated....
