New California

If New Cali uses sensible tax laws for businesses and property owners and can the free stuff, Old California will be bankrupt and be forced to raise taxes to pay the bills.  I would love to see it. It’s about time some of the people in those high tax states revolt. New Oregon; New Washington; New Illinois, New Connecticut; New New York ( haha) New New Jersey, and New New Mexico!!!!!

Jerry Brown needs to raise taxes and fees now inorder to pay for his high speed rail train that won't have enough people to ride it inorder to pay for it. They may have to raise taxes ? They have to raise taxes now they say; least they are forced to be more efficient. Raising property taxes in Cali is a challenge for the Dems out here as they are limited on the amount of taxes they can charge property owners based on Proposition 13. They cannot just raise the mil rate whenever they want like back in NY or Conn, et al. That is one reason why property values are so hugh out here. A fixer upper in San Diego county for a 3-4 bed room 1 1/2 bath with a decor stuck back in the 80's can run you $380,000 - $400,000 . Less if you go 1 hour North  and into Southern Riverside County where you can get a fairly move in ready 4 bedroom 3 full bath house for $420,000 . LA area ... you don't wanna know.

Ain't nothing gonna change unfortunately which is why I wanna move bigly . Wife is gonna see how much she would get if she retires from her teaching job this week. Cali suffers from the same thing Detroit, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Conn and any other Democratically dominated , and I mean dominated , state and or their cities suffer from. They get fat on the power their singular party holds, to the point they collude to get things done. They haven't actually reached across their fiefdoms to get a bipartisan thing done in decades. What suits their re-election and lines their pockets with cash via inside trading is all they care about. Unless of course they feel they have enough cash and want to retire. Nothing will ever change that until they actually go bankrupt.
