Will Iraq become the highest Arab country in economic growth?

[10 YEARS LATER]

Im probably going waaaaayyy out on a limb here . . . but in order to make this WB prediction a reality, wouldn't Iraq need to make the IQD a Globally recognized currency ?

 

The WB would look pretty foolish ( not that anyone would notice or care - folks talk out of the azz all the time ) if Iraq just carried on business as usual as they have done over the last 15 years. 

 

Let's see what Season 16 of this Soap Opera has in store.

The GDP growth rate is the most important indicator of economic health.

When GDP growth Business, jobs and personal income also growth 

 

How iraq is going to accomplish this growth in a closed economy. They

need to move from a closed economy to an open market economy with

an international recognized currency.

 

Maybe the WB knows something we don’t know.

I guess I still dont understand how any growth can occur when a countries funds are diverted to a politicians bank account. In Iraq’s case, multiple politicians bank accounts!

my thoughts when reading this thread hopefully this is the time for being international and a iraqi market economy besides oil

Thanks TYL i am begining to think Iraq is unique in the fact that it is a magnet for every

corrupt politician in the area.They can keep this thing on the edge of ejaculation for year

after year lining their pockets thru the auction process but never actually caring about the

iraq people or the future of the country because when the Gravy train stops. They will just go

The Iraqi economy will be the highest among the Arab countries, according to the latest World Bank report . The Iraqi economy is expected to grow at a rate of 6,000 and 19, with an average of 6 and 2 per cent.  Although Iraq has registered modest growth of 18,000 in one and nine-tenths of a percent, reconstruction projects this year will be an important driver for the growth of its economy and neighboring economies, being the highest Arab.     The report, titled The Global Economic Prospects in the Middle East and North Africa,"Dark Sky", predicted that the region would see a rise in the economic growth rate to one and nine tenths of a percent. Figures show that growth in the GCC will rise to two and six tenths Supported by an active investment in oil exporting countries.  Egypt will also see growth rising to five and six-tenths of percent, boosted by investments and reforms in the expected business climate.  Morocco and Tunisia will grow to two and nine tenths of a percent, if tourist indicators improve and political reforms continue, according to the report's requirements.  While growth in Jordan is likely to slightly improve by two to three tenths of a percent, the bank expects growth to fallAlgeria to the same rate, because of the slowdown in government spending compared to last year.  The World Bank has warned of the risks facing the region, which can discourage growth. Conflict can escalate and cause greater damage to income and economic activity, let alone health and social well-being.  You can view the report on the video above.
