The Municipality of Baghdad has announced the decorating of a large number of streets, public squares and Christmas trees in several areas of the capital in preparation for Christmas and New Year's Day celebrations.

In a statement, the Secretariat said that its departments were close to completing their preparations to receive holiday revelers through the establishment of a number of recreational activities, including the Christmas tree, in a number of squares and within large parks, especially the Zora Park.

This will be the first New Year celebration, following the great victory over a hasty organization.

First off , I'm amazed that the tower is still standing . With 33 million people in Iraq ,their share of the reserves is over a mill each ,technically that is . There will be celebration for sure when it rv's

It’s mind boggling to me....theyve been given alot of money and alot of support, and yet they cant seem to get it together. Will Bush eat his own words? America will not pay 5 cents for the war in Iraq....after watching these arabs for so long, I dont feel so dumb after all...and Im an eskimo from Alaska....
