news told us they pump small currency in the market within 2 week... my opinion same situation will occur.. not changing everything

"have 25000 dinar want to exchange small currency should pay 27500 dinar.."

but if they rv their currency... so this can ended the crisis..

________________________________________________________________

within 2 week small currency enter the market..

president iraq should elected  on 2 oct 2018

elect prime minister after 2 week after president iraq officially

with this timeframe abadi still prime minister...

i think button rv still on abadi hand.. he would press and announce this ..

rv will happen before small denom enter the market.

sorry.. my english is bad.. hahaha

just sharing what i thought about this,,

I understand you, @normala rashid, want Iraq to trade more on the global scale. However, Iraq will be a petroleum exporter and oil will be its number 1 export until oil is no longer needed. That won't happen for a very, very long time even if cars no longer need fossil fuels - oil. Oil is ingrained into the manufacturing products of so many items that new technology will need to be created for the development of like products. For example, any type of plastic (bags, packing materials, screen protectors etc. to name a few) is made with and from the use of oil. Synthetic lubricants are still much more expensive than what is currently coming out of the ground.

When countries have maintained sustainable growth and have increased the value of their currency this has come from long-term investments both from the interior of the country and the exterior of the country. Iraq needs to do more than pay their citizens from the sale of oil they need to reinvest their money into projects that are not beset by corruption. Case in point, the protesting that is occurring in Basra. Maliki headed up a water project worth 85 million that has never gone live if it works at all. There are countless investment projects around Iraq like the one in Basara in which the project has never been started, never been finished or has just evaporated into the ethos of corruption. This is a major benchmark in the Iraq 2016 SBA with the IMF. Abadi and others were working on this before the election and something Sadr has been alluding to within the last few months. Understanding that one may never root out all corruption because it has been said, "money is the root of evil" (Please note before anyone starts to correct, please look up the actual quote in the Bible. The word "all" does not appear in that verse. It is one of the most misquoted verses of the Bible).

In the end, corruption needs to be greatly reduced which Iraq has been slowly progressing on (2nd review). Lastly, Iraq needs more sustainable investment from outside of Iraq (remember the convention a few years ago in Kuwait about bringing in outside investment? That was not for nothing.) This additional sustainable long-term investment will give Iraq "street-cred" of a place investors can feel a modicum of confidence in that their investment will have a decent ROI. As it stands now with the reduced level of corruption but nowhere near enough has been reduced, outside investors have not been confident in investing in Iraq with large sustainable projects. Investing in dinar does not count in this aspect. There have been some but nowhere near enough to bring in more at a more rapid rate than what is occurring now.

As I said it is one of the most misquoted verses of the Bible... however, I did not misquote, as I did not quote the entire verse.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10 (KJV).

NOW, find the verse in which Jesus does not speak a parable and tells the disciples they are allowed to defend themselves with a sword. (HINT: Throw down your cape and buy a sword.) Jesus says love thy neighbor but never did he say lay down and die.

The scandal of the Central Bank, which is preoccupied with the name of its currency
Baghdad: The Central Bank of Iraq, to "scandal" caused by the exploitation of the daily auction of foreign currency and preoccupation with the crisis of writing the name of the province of acting (Ali Alalak) on the new edition of the new Iraqi currency of the small category.
"The bank bought the dollar from the currency auction in the name of nearly 438 customers," said the owner of the office of Siravh, and only said his name first {Muhammad} told the {Euphrates News} about the file of the Bank of Baghdad and buy the currency auction through customers, 10 - 2011 bought 100 billion Iraqi dinars and around the outside of $ 232 million, or nearly 3 times how so? ".
He added, "Akstvna at the end of 2015 and 2016 we found the names of our companies amounts ridiculous, and we went to the Tax Authority and went to the bank and refused to provide us with information and we went to the Central Bank and the other refused to do so."
"There is a lot that does not know that his name has been used to auction the foreign currency of the central bank," he said.
For his part, said economic expert Abdul Rahman Mashhadani told the {Euphrates News} "This subject and has documents on other banks in cooperation with tourism companies through the photocopy of the passport and the withdrawal of $ 5,000 on the name of the owner of the passport does not know," noting that "the Central Bank dealt with this subject Imposing a $ 20 penalty on $ 100? ".
"He has documents on the settlement of these things and the huge sums of up to 400 to 500 million US dollars and we have the Central Bank's book with the Bank of Baghdad and there are many banks working in the same manner and part of the money laundering work outside Iraq."
"The role of this window and the organization of its work should have been scaled down, but the currency auction is open on a weekly basis. It does not serve the Iraqi currency," he said.
Al-Mashhadani pointed out that "the liquidation of this matter to the owners of companies is not easy and people who review the tax departments was better to sue them against these banks being part of the fraud and fraud."

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) has released a series of new banknote designs aimed at modernizing the currency and better reflecting the nation’s heritage and diversity.

The last significant redesign of Iraqi banknotes came after the 2003 US invasion, which saw Saddam Hussein’s face removed from the currency.

Now a new series of 25,000, 10,000, 1000, 500, 250 dinar notes is set to enter circulation from next week. The CBI says it does not plan to recall old banknotes.

As part of the redesign, the new banknotes will now feature the governor of the central bank’s printed name instead of his signature, “compatible with what is being followed in other countries”, the CBI said Sunday.

The issuing date will read 2018 AD and 1440 Hijri of the Islamic calendar.

However, it is the 1000 dinar note that seems to be getting the most significant makeover.

The symbol of the Ikhlas Surah from the Quran, which is currently featured on the 1000 IQD bill, is to be replaced with what looks like an Assyrian star.

Assyrians are a predominately Christian minority group concentrated around northern Iraq. Many of them were displaced or forced to flee abroad during the ISIS war.

The new 1000 dinar note will also feature the words: “Enlisting the marshes and heritage of Southern Iraq on world heritage list”. This is in reference to the inclusion of Iraq’s endangered marshlands on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage sites in 2016.

During Saddam’s rule, Iraq’s marshes were almost completely drained in order to flush out rebel groups.

The rich natural habitat and the culture of the marshland’s inhabitants were almost lost. International efforts have sought to bring it back to life.

It make no sense to bring out this note to the local market BUT is this article is true

the RV- RI will take longer..... I don’t believe this article is true

Could be just a education campaign to the citizens to let them know new notes are

coming out to the market, But not the ones they are taking about.

Go cbi

Go dinar real market value

Go lower denomination notes

Go purchasing power
