DinarThug
LINK Fighting Corruption: The next Baghdad war: Abadi "settle his accounts" with Maliki and the crowd 10th November, 2017 Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi, in his statement on the occasion of « the death of Imam Hussein», that «Iraq will defeat corruption and defeated terrorism», reiterated his call for the security forces to «continue to protect visitors in all cities, and to exert maximum effort to secure their return and the provision of means Adequate transport to them ». The prime minister's positions come in the context of implementing some of the promises of his "ministerial statement"; the fight against corruption comes in the priority of the Iraqi citizen, who pays the price of that "rampant cancer" in various government departments "without any exception," in the words of government sources, Al-Akhbar reported that the slogan was "electoral propaganda" because the call came as the security forces approached the elimination of a "preacher" in Iraq, specifically in his last pocket in the western desert of Anbar. Some say that the "fight against corruption" will affect the "opponents" of Abadi, while "the man will turn a blind eye to some potential allies," referring to the former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki as a "rival," amid expectations that the head of " Ammar al-Hakim, and the leader of the «Sadrist movement» Moqtada al-Sadr, the most «options» in line with the proposals of the next Abadi. The talk of some of Abadi's close associates does not end with the attempt to "root out" the supporters of al-Maliki, who work in the government departments, who are surrounded by "suspicion of corruption", especially that the entry of such "common" will contribute to "raising the shares of Abadi," especially in the popular circles. The former prime minister, according to them, who assert in their talk to the "news" that the "war on corruption" will also include a number of leaders of the "popular crowd", pro-Tehran, who formed "obstacles" to Abadi in achieving some of his visions during the military operations on « Urging ", to include this in the framework of« liquidation accounts », but in the« fight against corruption. Abadi adheres to some of the actions of the "crowd" factions, which are described as "violating the law" as a cover for his upcoming confrontation. His team believes that paving the way for the "second term" will only be through "disarming the factions" Refused to integrate the whole into the "crowd", which revolves in Iranian astronomy. On the Baghdad-Erbil line, confidence is still lost between the two parties, despite various calls to start "rounds" of dialogue, to resolve the outstanding problems. In a move that seemed striking yesterday, Sadr received a telephone call from the deputy head of the government «Territory» Qubad Talabani, who called for «to mediate a dialogue between the brothers in the region, and the federal government and return to abide by the Constitution». He added that the two parties touched upon «the subject of the federal budget ... As Sadr pointed out that the state is going through a difficult economic situation, And that the Iraqi people in the south and center is not different from the region in this regard, if not the situation is harder ». He said: «We emphasize that the people and the lives of citizens and the stability of their lives in political conflicts».At the same level, the adviser of the "Security Council of the region," pleased Barzani, Erbil's readiness for a "comprehensive dialogue" between Erbil and Baghdad according to the Iraqi constitution, which encouraged the French President Emmanuel Macaron, expressing his country's support for «Kurdish rights within the framework of the Iraqi constitution "In a letter of support to the government of Erbil.
