The House of Representatives votes on a set of laws and endorses several recommendations in today's session

The House of Representatives will hold its regular session on Wednesday to vote on a number of bills and other discussions and adopt a set of recommendations.

The Council shall complete the voting on the Third Amendment Bill for the Law of Governorates not organized in Region No. 21 of 2008 and on the draft law for the ratification of the Mutual Encouragement and Protection of Investments between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Council votes on the draft law amending the law of the Association of Accountants and Auditors and the Second Amendment Law of the Central Bank of Iraq Law No. (56) of 2004 on the Coalition Provisional Authority (dissolved) and the draft law challenging the law in the provisions and decisions concerning real estate ownership.     

It is hoped that the vote in today's session vote in principle on the draft law on the lease of agricultural land.

In addition, a vote will be taken on the exemption of former MPs who have been issued a decision by the Federal Court to invalidate their membership of the amounts due to them and to vote on the resolution of the water crisis in Samawah and to vote on the recommendations of the Committee of Expatriates, Displaced Persons and Expatriates.

 

The Council also votes on the accession of the candidates to the Committee of the abducted and the problem of Order No. (159) and the accession of the candidates to the Committee to address the housing crisis in Iraq and the problem of Order No. (196).

The Council will read the first reading of the draft law on the ratification of the United Nations Convention on transparency in treaty arbitration between investors and countries and the first reading of the proposal of the law of the National Authority for the Protection of Peaceful Coexistence and the first reading of the proposed law of the first amendment to the Law of Selected No. 13 of 2011.
