The CBI directs banks to apply the user protection network

The CBI directs banks to apply the user protection network

The Central Bank of Iraq directed all Iraqi banks to adopt the standards of the user protection network approved by SWIFT International before the end of 2017.

The Central Bank said the claim came as part of the commitment of the Iraqi banking sector to apply international standards in the field of remittances.

The standards of the 16-user protection network can be summed up by the need to restrict access to the Internet, separate sensitive systems from the overall IT environment, and mitigate cyber attacks and vulnerabilities.

Other security measures include security intuition to protect against access to Internet sites, storage and prevention of safe password detection, management of bank identification numbers, separation of privileges, detection of suspicious activities within the system, registration of operations and plans to respond to various situations (errors and incidents) and information sharing.

Thanks Yota...There seems to be an awful lot of movement going on behind closed doors...This World Fair hosted by Iraq and supported by the Arabic League and world leader seems to be a prelude to building confidence in the CBI...What better advertisement, to where to place your dinars, once the dinar is given value and accepted internationally...than in an international supported, Arabic back, global secured banking system...Give the dinar its true worth, where the '000' note want be feasible on the streets...and the LD notes will have to be activated and the the liquidity problem is solved....

I think I’m the only one with hope of the RV happening before 2018. 🤔🙏🏻

I started the year off and I am still hoping for 2017, but the boxes that need to be checked for an RV have yet to be accomplished. But this being Iraq it could be done quickly if there is something in it for them or could be pushed into the "Coming Days" group.
