Millions urge Sadr to end 'Iran puppets rule' in Iraq

Millions of Iraqis have called upon leader of Sadrist Movement, Sayyed Moqtada al-Sadr to take further steps for real political reform and ending the Iran-allied militias' hegemony in Iraq.

Calls went viral on social media urging the prominent Shiite cleric to take to streets to get their demands implemented.

Iranian puppets

This comes at a time when decision-making process in the war-torn Iraq is fully controlled by Iran. The Shiite country is preparing its minions to occupy the most important posts in Baghdad.

Former PM Nuri al-Maliki, who is in charge of the Speicher Massacre that left hundreds of Iraqi cadets killed, now plans to overthrow Iraqi President Fuad Massum.

Tehran, that also deploys hundreds of militias in Iraq and other Arab countries to disturb their internal security, plans for its Sunni and Shiite agents to win the upcoming parliament elections and keep the post of Prime Minister at the hands of Tehran.

Electoral Commission

MPs from National Alliance that is fully controlled by Iran, seek also to extend the term of the electoral Commission despite reservations from honorable political powers.

Sadr accuses the current commission of being controlled by Iran-allied Iraqi government’s ruling parties. Sadr also accuses ruling parties of committing violations in the 2014 parliamentary elections.

On Monday, al-Sadr's supporters threatened to re-storm the Iraqi Parliament building in case the suspicious elections commission was extended.

Earlier, the Sadrist Movement decided to postpone their demonstrations to give the parliament an opportunity to elect a new electoral commission, according to member of Central Revolution Committee linked with the Sadrist Movement, Ikhlas al-Uobadi.

Speaking at a press conference at the Tahrir Square in central Baghdad, Al-Obeidy said, “We reject extending the mandate of the current electoral commission for any reason".

“If it is extended, the people will withdraw the mandate from the MPs, and the people will determine their future,”  she warned.

The Sadr-affiliated committee called upon the people of Iraq to form a million-man march and “fold the page of the parliament to begin a new one.”

In April and May, 2016, Sadr supporters stormed the Iraqi Parliament building after the government failed to complete a quorum to vote for Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi’s new cabinet ministers.

Thank You, TigerGorZow, for this and all the other articles You bring over! :tiphat:

It is articles like this that makes me think a substantial portion of the Iraqis really do want and will act to have an Iraq of their own apart from any influence from Iran in their government, religious, and social venues. The Iraqi representative at the UN on the Nuclear and Disarmament committee, to me, is a high power tool to get Iran to mind each and every one of Iraq's intents in Iraq's own affairs - not to mention Sadr and all the supporters at the grass roots.

All these players Syria,Iran,Russia and the GOI have figured out that America is so scared

of things getting out of control in the middle east (call that threat to Isreal) that all the

countries involved keep things stirred up so they can continue to steal US tax dollars. This

is their plan and we fall for it each time. They laugh all the way to the realestate office buying

more homes in London. HA HA
