The Information Service of the Council in a statement received / Mawazine News / a copy of it, "The Parliament holds its meeting, today, the vote on the proposal to amend the law of the High Commission Independent Electoral Commission No. 11 of 2007. (Legal Committee) (3 article) In addition to the report of the work of the Committee of Experts to select the members of the Electoral Commission for elections.

The statement added that "the meeting also includes a vote on the proposed law of the second amendment to the law of the Independent High Electoral Commission No. (11) for the year 2007 (the legal committee) (6 article), and vote on candidates for membership of the investigative committee on the kidnapped.

He added that "Parliament will also complete the vote on the draft amendment to the third law of the provinces not organized in the region No. (21) for the year 2008 (Legal Committee, the Committee of Regions and governorates not organized in the province) (remaining 11 articles), in addition to voting in principle as well (Law Committee), and vote in principle on the proposed law amending the Personal Status Law No. (188) for the year 1959 (the Legal Committee, the Endowment and Religious Affairs Committee).

The statement pointed out that "the meeting will also vote on the draft law on the ratification of the Convention on the encouragement and mutual protection of investments between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Economy and Investment) (2 article) and vote on the draft law amending the law of the Association of Accountants and Auditors. (Finance Committee, Legal Committee, Civil Society Institutions Committee) (12 Articles) ".

He explained that "during the session, the vote on the wording of a resolution on the subject of the third round and the improvement of the rate (the Education Committee) will also be voted on and the decision will be taken on the cancellation of the decision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to ban the transportation of students to their universities."
