Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced on Tuesday that he will head to New York next week to attend meetings of UN General Assembly.

In his weekly press conference, al-Abadi said that during the meetings of the UN General Assembly, which will last for three days, he aspires to meet as many leaders as possible to discuss the means to reconstruct Iraq.

Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) MP Masrour Barzani, son of region’s President Masoud Barzani, will head to Washington to convince the US administration to support Kurdistan Region’s independence referendum slated for September 25th.

In July, it was reported that Mosul’s basic infrastructure will cost more than $1 billion to repair after the US-backed Iraqi offensive to retake the city from ISIS.

Blue skyline, Kurdistan oilers are basically under a lease agreement with the KRG.  KRG pays them for the oil and getting it out of the ground. This is part of the reason they are so undervalued, KRG was behind on payments but now they are settling the debt with these companies.  They just settled with Genel and the stock has more then doubled already.  They are all prime takeover targets by larger companies which is great if you are a shareholder. Western Zagros (WZGRF) was bought out about 3 months ago and I made around a 300 percent return when I sold.
