The General Company for Ports announces the reduction of fees on materials received by government laboratories

The Iraqi Ports Company announced on Monday the reduction of fees and revenues of goods and materials received through ports to government laboratories, indicating that the reduction rate reached (25%).

The Director General of the company, Riyad Sawadi Shamki, said in a statement that the Minister of Transport Kazem Vajan Al-Yamami directed the reduction of fees on materials received by the government laboratories in response to the request submitted by the State Company for Iraqi Cement of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, indicating that this achievement was to stimulate production within the country and overcome the obstacles to the laboratories Iraq.

Shamkhi added that the reduction includes the goods received on behalf of the Iraqi General Company for Cement exclusively, in addition to Basra cement plant.
The Iraqi Ministry of Transport has reduced the revenues and wages of unloading industrial salt to 5000 dinars per tonne last month.
