Seems like Iraq could offer bonds or some of that IQD they've been collecting off the streets ( with a "wink, wink, it'll be worth more soon" stipulation ) to get them to tell the IMF that they have been compensated enough. Gotta be good news that they're at least trying to finish this up.

Think of it this way........at a time when Iraq is low on funds from dealing with low oil prices, a war within their own borders and the rebuilding of their second largest city - they are talking about paying off a HUGE debt!  Something must have changed - or is about to change.

"

He pointed out that "the successive Iraqi governments after the 2003 overlooked this file and even worse, the ruling parties in Iraq have been granted Kuwait new concessions after 2003 outside the Security Council resolution 833 which is approved on the port of Mubarak, despite violating the Law of the Sea and the Convention on the Khawr Abd humiliating and awarded the new spoils of Kuwait after Prop 162.
