Who is the liar?

Irony – James Comey’s Concern About Lying Exposes Months-long Lying of Democrat Leadership…

Posted on June 8, 2017 by sundance

During fired FBI Director James Comey’s testimony today he justified his need to write “memos” after meetings with President Trump because he held concerns that President Trump would lie about their meetings.

However, in citing this reasoning, and later delivering expanded testimony, James Comey exposed his own lying and also the lying of Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Senator Chuck Schumer, and Senator Mark Warner.

First, to the matter of James Comey directly lying.

James Comey testified today that he delivered his memos to his friend at Columbia University, Professor Daniel Richman, on/after May 15th. He said the intent was to initiate a “special prosecutor”:

“I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday night, ‘cause it didn’t dawn on me originally that there might be corroboration for our conversation; there might be a tape.” [Referring to Monday May 15] “And my judgment was I needed to get that out in the public square so I asked a friend of mine to share the content of the memo with a reporter. I Didn’t do it myself for a variety of reasons but I asked him to because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel. So I asked a close friend of mine to do it.”

However, the content of the memo was leaked to the New York Times on or before Thursday May 11th for an article that was originally posted at 5:26pm:

Looser !!! I actually thought this thread was from a different looser until I pulled it up. There ya go Kev start up the hyperbolic digging from the start. Bad Kevin, bad Kevin. But I just couldn't help myself, it's so early in the morning. I haven't finished my first cup of coffee yet. I am sorry.

Otherwise let me start off by re-posting my comment on another thread, as I believe it applies here.

What we need to add to the list of the DOJ  stonewalling and not prosecuting those guilty of a actual crimes is former Director Comey, who today under oath admitted that he leaked private notes on a secured laptop that should have be handed over to the then Attorney General. Specifically, he handed copies of notes containing his private opinions about Trump, mixed in with his recollections of discussions had during dinner, to a Professor friend at a university. Asking said friend to see that they (the friend) get the notes to the press, because he (Comey) couldn't and shouldn't be the one to communicate them to the press. If jails were co-ed they should give Mr Comey the cell right next to that young lady waiting for arraignment on charges of espionage for leaking info. The additional thing they both had in common is their personal opinion that Trump could not be trusted; in their mind justifying each to do what they did.

Comey also stated that Mr Trump did not have , during the time of his employ as Director of the FBI, a active investigation on going into collusion with the Russians in the probe into the Russian hacking of the DNC of Socialists, and breaking into the voting machines, under his watch, during the Obama Administration. Period. Reaffirming Trumps statements of sorts. There is an active investigation into the Russians hacking of our election system, during the Obama watch (cuz the man just couldn't think of what he could do to stop all the hacking [cuz he probably didn't want to stop it] ). We don't like anyone attempting to do that. Despite HRC statement that when Hamas got 70 seats during the elections in the Palestinian Authority's election , "that we should have made sure that our people got elected to prevent Hamas from gaining such influence in the P.A. government. Then there is the thing we got involved in in Panama, ousting Noriega; Nicaragua and the Sandinistas; Bay of Pigs' that we know of. WE should complete the Russian probe into their hacking of our election system, send to jail all who coludded with them in the US if any, then strengthen our cyber defenses against all future hacks by Russia, North Korea, Iran, et al. WE should also stop attempting to painting Trump and his administration as Darth Vader and the evil Empire, and give the man a chance to govern. Pray for our President daily, regardless if he was the one you voted for, and trust God to influence him.

Even Donald's GOP brethren, while supporting him mind you, are saying on camera...he's new and not smart enough to know any better.....hahahahhahaha.  Man, is this country toast.  <_<

Shabby they said the same thing using different words about Obama during his first four years, let alone during his first four months. No double standards here now.

Even if Comey was the "leaker", I don't think his memos are considered CLASSIFIED. Hence, this would not be a criminal act.

No, this is a case of two people with ULTRA Egos (Comey & Trump). Comey just testified and Trump is swinging from the sidelines. One thing is for sure, both of them, or just one is lying. I am not sure if we will ever know.

One thing that is clear, however, is that the Democrats and Lame Stream Media's wet dream of catching Trump in a criminal act is nothing more than a wet dream. Give it a rest.

I understand what you're saying, kev... I'm just wondering how the self proclaimed knower of all things is going to react when he realises his GOP backers think he's kind of dumb and naive.  Should make for an epic tantrum.

Be careful Shabs..."dumb and naive" mean two totally different things. I think "naive" or ignorant is more appropriate.

In any case, those who feel Trump is "dumb" or "stupid" have been proven wrong time and time again. The problem is that Trump is not a POLITICIAN and has never claimed to be a POLITICIAN. I am of the belief that this is good for Washington...even if Trump doesn't understand proper political etiquette.

I know they are different things.....That's why I said "and" rather than "or".  Anyway, I don't know where the video is....but I do recall Donald saying on camera that no other politician in history has been treated as unfairly as him......obviously he forgot about JFK and the other poor presidential souls taken by assassins.  But that's Donald for you......he is the center of the universe.  So he is a politician, verified by his own words.

I think that said knower of all is aware that some of his republican backers do not think well of him which is why he is trying by asking if they agree with his agenda before he hires them into their position. That is also the reason why he is trying to plug the numerous leaks by investigating all of them and prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law. But as we saw yesterday, if they do not understand the N.Y. culture the individual may mis-interpret his intentions when asked " can I have  your loyalty. " The only question for me is will Comey now be prosecuted for his admission that he leaked private classified notes (since Comey entered them on a secured laptop) to the press through a 3rd party. On a private note, on a private cell phone, I am finding our verbal jousting fun, and dare I say even respectful. I would think we could work well together but just not being  "Yes-persons" to each others point of views. If you get my drift. Oh gag, that sounds weird; but you know what I mean.

Really I think all incoming Presidents should request the resignation of everyone. That way it would be easier to keep those who are willing to be team players;  which is what I feel Trump was asking when he asked  Comey if he (Trump) can have his loyalty. Imho.

Not so ---

Any/all work created in the line of duty, on government equipment, in a government vehicle relating to his government job ...

he signed Docs at time of hire stating he knows this...

he's obviously no great legal mind and should have been fired for being too CONVENIENTLY IGNORANT of the Rule of Law.

He is very much in violation and thus subject to the long arm of The Law.

Lock him up. <_<

Thank the Lord for James Comey for ‘spilling the beans’ and bringing major victory to President Trump and major defeat to the democratic Russian collusion Libel and to the Obama regime of corruption. Thank the Lord for the great vindication of president Trump from any wrongdoing about the false Russia collusion libel and giving President Trump the opportunity to fulfill his great agenda for the American people for a great America! Thank the Lord for James Comey’s admittance of being a leaker and connecting to the crooks of the NY Times for one reason of forcing the nomination of a special prosecutor for investigation Russia Collusion Libel by US Congress. Undoubtedly, Comey is probably behind multiple leaks to the corrupt lawbreaker NY Times as a major player in Hillarious Clinton and the Democratic Party to take President Trump down in a Deep State coup despite the vote of the American people. Thank the Lord for Comey’s accusing AG Lynch in obstruction of justice about Hillarious Clinton and forcing him as FBI chief to call the investigation “Matter” in order to support Hillarious Clinton cover up of her top secret leaking crimes before the elections and keeping her as Democratic party ‘innocent’ candidate criminal Hillarious with chance to become the worst criminal president in US history. Who could ever believe that FBI Chief is a leaker of the NY Times while trying to force Democratic Party win for nominating a special prosecutor against Trump aiming to take him down in a coup of lies?

Chris Matthews: Trump-Russia Collusion Theory 'Came Apart' in Comey Hearing

Even MSNBC's Chris Matthews is now having trouble with the notion that there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Sean Hannity called out the mainstream media on his show Thursday night for advancing the faulty narrative for months based on "innuendo."

Reacting to the James Comey Senate hearing, Matthews said the Trump-collusion theory "came apart."

The assumption of the president's critics, his pursuers you might say, is that somewhere along the line in the last year, the president had something to do with colluding with the Russians. Something to do, the helping hand, encouraging them, feeding their desire to affect the election in some way. Some role they played, some conversation he had with Michael Flynn or Paul Manafort or somewhere.

But yet what came apart this morning was that theory.

Matthews called it "fascinating" to hear Comey testify that Michael Flynn "wasn't central to the Russia investigation."

The host said that he assumed Flynn could potentially "flip" on Trump after being accused of not truthfully filling out federal forms to become national security advisor.

"And if that's not the case, where's the there there?" he asked.

Hannity said the media has been "breathlessly lying" about Trump and Russia since the election, but now even "Mr. Thrill Up His Leg" is doubting the story.

In the hearing, Comey also deemed inaccurate a February New York Times report that claimed Trump campaign associates contacted Russian intelligence multiple times.

For a guy who "takes a lot of notes", you would think he might actually check them before giving sworn testimony in front of the entire world.

Instead, Comey revealed to everyone on this planet that he is nothing more than a political hack, willing to commit acts of treason against America, and jeopardize our nation's security,  in order to his "DC Insider" agenda.

I wonder if he bothers to date all those "important" facts he tries to preserve, otherwise he straight out lied about the timing of the leak, and was off by four days, and that is not even touching on the reality that he willfully and intentionally disclosed at minimum secret level information to an unbonded individual, for the sole purpose of personal gain. That in itself is a felony.

Anyone who has ever had any level clearance know's the rules, the higher the security level, the greater care, and punishments related to breaking the rules.

There's a lot to unpack, and some of the most self-incriminating evidence he gave was contained in what he didn't say.

Here's a great synopsis that sums it up pretty well...  DM
