Trade announces its desire to cooperate with US companies to prepare the ration card items

The Ministry of Commerce announced on Wednesday its desire to cooperate with US companies in the processing of food items within the ration card items with emphasis on quality, quality and quality control in the process of checking materials and conforming to international and Iraqi standards. 
"Trade Minister Mohammed Hashim received the US ambassador to Baghdad, Douglas Seelman, to discuss the economic relations between Iraq and the United States, which is witnessing significant progress in light of the desire of the two countries to increase the volume of economic cooperation and trade exchange," the ministry's press office said.
He added that "the ministry aspires to joint cooperation and participation of US companies in the processing of food items within the ration card items with emphasis on quality, quality and quality control in the process of checking materials and conformity with international standards and Iraqi," adding that the new Iraqi government is open to the world in light of the need for an economy strong deals with the economies of other countries , and at the same time meets the need of the Iraqi people , especially in the areas of investment and the provision of basic needs and the establishment of genuine partnerships in the field of reconstruction and investment and rehabilitation of infrastructure. " 
For his part , Ambassador Prince stressed J in Baghdad on " the importance of opening a new chapter of economic and trade cooperation between Iraq and the United States of America through the contribution of US companies in Iraq processing food distributed by the Ministry of Commerce on the Iraqi people within the Altamoanh card."
Suleiman pointed out the importance of working on the memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries and activating the provisions of the joint agreement between the two governments in order to continue US companies processing wheat and rice materials within the contracts carried out by the Ministry of Commerce. 
"The US Chamber of Commerce has sent a large group of businessmen and companies to discuss with the Iraqi side and their Iraqi counterparts the possibility of entering into investment projects to contribute to the construction and development of infrastructure in Iraq and the establishment of companies with the Iraqi private sector as well as the possibility of training and rehabilitation of staff in the areas of examination laboratory and the use of modern laboratory examination ".anthy 29 / p

The Information Office of the MP for the bloc of the rule of law, high Nassif, on Friday, the gathering of signatures of 50 deputies to issue a decision to deduct the amount of each barrel of oil and distribution to each individual Iraqi.

He said in a statement, "Trend Press" that "Nassif submitted a request to the Presidency of the House of Representatives, supported by the signatures of fifty deputies, the approval of a decision to deduct the amount of each barrel of oil."

"The amount is distributed within the ration card for each individual Iraqi, based on Article (59 / P 2)."

The deputy of the coalition of state law, high Nassif, to the presidency of parliament, a proposal to deduct one dollar, the value of each barrel of oil issued by Iraq, to provide the necessary allocations to finance the ration card items.

"On the basis of Article (59 / P 2), we ask for approval to issue a decision to deduct the amount of each barrel of oil and distribute it on the ration card for each individual Iraqi," said the document, which was reviewed by "NAS" today (November 9, 2018).

According to the document, two deputies signed the proposal.

The proposal did not include any further details.

The database of the ration card system, the most important references available in estimating the population of the country.

It said in a statement issued by its office published on November 9, 2018 that it submitted a request to the Presidency of the House of Representatives, supported by the signatures of fifty deputies, approving the issuance of a decision to deduct the amount of each barrel of oil and distribution within the ration card for each individual Iraqi, based on Article (59 / P 2 ).

The law calls for the auditing of KRG government revenue to determine any funds that should be transferred to the national treasury and provides for the potential withholding of proportionate amounts of national budgetary funds from transfer to the KRG in the event of non-payment by the KRG of revenues due to the national government. Article 19 of the law states that the percentages of the budget allocated to the KRG and the governorates will be “revisited” in the 2009 budget and calls on the national government to “conduct a population census throughout Iraq no later than December 31, 2008.” The U.S. Department of Defense reported in March 2008 that the Iraqi government “continues to distribute oil revenues equitably to the provinces in the absence of... comprehensive legislation.”14

[Synopsis]

Legislation was passed and published in the Gazette circa March 2018 for IMPLEMENTATION six (6) months later or circa September 2018 to give the allocation of oil revenues to the citizens but news articles noted a delay of IMPLEMENTATION in September. I suspect these 50 parliamentarians are attempting to make good on this binding enactment albeit late. Otherwise, the natives likely will go back to their normal primitive state and get all restless and soil their garments then make everything chaotic subsequently delaying necessary progress.

Morning OT — I’m probably missing something ..... putting off the RI/RV for 2 more years waiting for the 2020 census? Do I read that right ? Sounds Absurd....if so, then I think this entire thing is under the manipulation of WB, IMF, UN & any other global financial institution.

 

Iraq is just dancing to the Puppet Masters and has no real say ? That’s a damn big smoke & mirrors project.

I know I hope I'm wrong too, but since Parliament passed the National Oil company law which enables a percentage of petro dollars to the provinces, it may be that the government is in no hurry to pass the Oil and Gas Law.  Heck, they haven't even implemeted the National Oil Company Law yet and it was passed earlier this year.    Oil and Gas/HCL was legislated in 2007.  One of the big problems was that the only census the government had was taken by ration card registration.  Well, this was a problem and may still be a problem with the Kurds because the Kurds being the proud people that they are would not register for  the ration card.  So therefore, the Kurds felt there was not an accurate representation of their population to get the legislation passed. Implementation of article 140 and the census were to be finished by 2008, and here we are today and they still have not been done.  So I'm hoping at least the National Oil Company Law will be implemented

 

National Oil Company Law.

2. The remaining profits of the Company shall, after deduction of the percentage allocated in (1) of this Paragraph, be distributed as follows: (a) A percentage of the profits shall be added to the reserve capital of the Company, and the Board of Directors may determine the mechanisms and fields of disposal of such reserve to achieve the interests and objects of the Company; (b) A percentage of the profits shall be allocated to the “Citizen Fund”, whereby equal value shares are distributed to all national citizens residing in Iraq, pursuant to priority of the society segments, and the shares may not be sold, purchased or inherited, as they are forfeited upon death; (c) Shares of Iraqi citizens residing in regions and Governorates that are not organized in a region and that refrain from delivering the revenues of produced oil and gas to the Company, shall be deprived of profits and their entitlement shall be added to the rest of the shareholders; (d) A percentage of the profits shall be allocated to the “Generations Fund” with the object of investing for the benefit of the generations; (e) A percentage of the profits shall be allocated to the “Reconstruction Fund” for the purpose of executing strategic projects in the Governorates where the Company carries out an oil activity; and (f) The Board shall issue instructions regarding the content of (II) of this Paragraph pursuant to the Bylaws. IV- Deductions in favour of those entitled under Paragraph (III) above shall be taken from the Company’s account with the Central Bank, and on basis of the estimations approved by the Board in the annual budget, provided that the accounts shall be settled when the financial year has ended and under the supervision of the Federal Board of Supreme Audit.

Exactly, and sad to say, it's who's in control a group of insidious individuals, not caring about who or when but inside this group...one day we will and Iraqi's will prosper that day maybe upon us within the next two years...only saying this due to it taking 25yrs ND we have to be there soon, atleast for this type of change/reform in banking...but if this if the hcl then maybe sooner
