"the suspension of the movement was not for any security or other reasons, other than bad weather.....Russia should not have the authority to make this statement. Iraq has the Ministry of transportation to do this .There's no need to say that it was not for security purposes. What is the disruption of authority in the transportation service ?

Direct: The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that it did not receive any memorandum from the airlines stating the suspension of its flights to the country .

The civil aviation authority media director, Jihad al-Darraji, said today, Wednesday, that the reciprocal flights between Iraq and the countries of the world are still normal, according to the Iraqi News Agency "conscious ".

Al-Daraji said that air navigation was only affected "in a smooth way" due to the current conditions in the country, noting that "there is a slight decrease in the number of flights between Baghdad and the world capitals ."

He added that the Aviation Authority was not officially informed by the companies, which some media outlets claimed had suspended their flights in Iraqi airspace .

In the same context, Abdullah Al-Zyoud, director of the Royal Jordanian Airlines in Iraq, confirmed the continuation of scheduled flights to Iraq .

Al-Zyoud told the agency today that the scheduled flights of Royal Jordanian to Iraq are continuing, indicating that the Royal Air Force canceled a morning flight to Baghdad to coincide with the date of its arrival with the Iranian bombing .

And that the property continues with its scheduled flights between the Jordanian capital, Amman, and all stations in Iraq .

A number of Arab and foreign airlines decided today to suspend their flights over the airspace of Iraq and Iran, following an Iranian missile attack on the US-led forces in Iraq .

The  Iraqi Ain al-Assad air base,  which includes units of the US Army, was hit by ballistic missiles, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard claimed responsibility for the attack.
