Political analyst Hazem al-Bawi said on Friday that the strategic framework agreement between Iraq and America is essentially void because the latter violated the terms of the agreement and interfered with the internal affairs of Iraq.

"The most important items of the strategic framework agreement between Baghdad and Washington are respect for the sovereignty of some, but the American side has been violating this sovereignty by a series of actions not related to diplomatic relations between the countries of the relationship," Al-Bawi said in a statement.

He added that "Iraqis can not forget the silence and overlook Washington and sitting on the hill overlooking the fall of the provinces, however, calling the terrorist and this in itself falls the legitimacy of the life of this agreement."

He pointed out that "the Iraqi government is required to commit the US side to respect the strategic framework agreement signed between them, which provides for mutual interference in internal affairs."

He explained that "the sanctions imposed by Washington on the Iraqi political movement or Iraqi faction is a loss of legal value and non-binding to Iraq, because Baghdad is responsible for its internal affairs and the activities that are taking place."

"The government should follow all diplomatic means to get the US administration to respect the sovereignty and decision of Iraq, especially after all proved the suspicious role played by the US consulate in the events in Basra," he said, adding that the US special envoy to Iraq, Brigitte McGuck, In the formation of a parliamentary bloc will be the largest liking Washington.
