o The two councils of the two countries decided to allocate the agreed land on the Iraqi-Jordanian border to reach a depth of 2 km on the two sides of the border and a length of 6 km for the Iraqi Jordanian company, granting them the necessary exemptions and completion of the tender request for preparing technical specifications for the joint Jordanian- By 2-2-2019, in preparation for the company's presentation of the industrial zone to the private sector for operation and management on the basis of BOT.

In the financial sector
o Forming a technical and financial legal committee between the two sides to develop solutions to the outstanding financial files between the two countries.

In the energy sector
o The agreement was reached on the Jordanian-Iraqi electricity link through the network of interconnection, where the memorandum of understanding was signed in the presence of the prime ministers, in which the parties agreed to take the necessary measures to accelerate the exchange of electrical energy between the two parties through direct electrical connection to the electricity networks of Iraq and Jordan.

o It was agreed to finalize the framework agreement for the Iraqi-Jordanian pipeline which will extend from Basra through Haditha to Aqaba in the first quarter of 2019.

o It was agreed that the technical committees will arrive to determine the details of transportation and pricing for the export of Iraqi crude oil to Jordan before 2-2-2019.

In agriculture
o Training in the areas of optimal use of water in the fields of aquaculture and water harvesting as well as in the field of seed propagation and in the areas of biological control and the use of environmentally friendly pesticides and the training of Iraqi environmental police.

In the ICT sector
o Agreement on the passage of Internet capacity to Iraq through Jordan in 2019 to support Iraq in the construction of infrastructure.

o Agreement on the transfer of Jordanian experiences in the fields of financial technology to the brothers in Iraq.

Baghdad Chamber of Commerce stressed on Monday the need to increase trade cooperation between Iraq and Jordan in various fields, at the top of which is to raise the level of entry for Iraqi traders, in turn between the Jordanian side and in an official visit to Iraq that their presence will enhance the understandings and trade agreements between the two countries. 
During the reception of the Jordanian government delegation headed by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tariq al-Hamouri and the membership of a number of Jordanian economic and trade figures, the head of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce Jafar al-Hamdani said that the recovery of the Iraqi economy is positive for the economies of the region and the world, This is what all the economies of the world have realized. "The aspiration of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce is that the brotherly Jordanian delegation would be a real breakthrough for the achievement of the Arab Union, the Arab Free Market and the strategic partnership."
Al-Hamdani stressed the importance of discussing the files that enhance the reality of economic cooperation and transferring it to a new stage, stressing the need for both sides to facilitate and free the movement of goods and funds between the two countries, on top of which is facilitating the task of lifting the entry visa for traders between the two sides. The two countries. 
For his part, Minister of Commerce Mohammed Hashim al-Ani, said that Jordanian companies have many commercial opportunities available in all of Iraq can be invested and work on them, stressing the readiness of the ministry to overcome all the difficulties that may face those companies. 
He pointed out that Iraq is a global trade destination due to its commercial opportunities that can boost the economic balance, especially as the government program encourages investment and supporting the private sector.
The Minister of Industry and Aid Saleh al-Jubouri said that the Jordanian industrial sector is a real partner in the Iraqi market and the possibility of supporting the Iraqi industry in joint cooperation are ongoing understandings between the two sides, stressing that the Iraqi industry is trying today to compete with its counterparts from the countries of the region by offering products according to approved specifications. His call for the need to support the Iraqi industry by placing it in the priorities of the Iraqi government's work. 
The Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade Tariq Hamouri also stressed during his speech the importance of the presence of the delegation of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Iraq because of its positive repercussions at various levels of the two countries. Baghdad:

Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister Rajai al-Muasher said on Monday that his country had reached an agreement with Iraq on free trade between the two countries.

This came during a joint press conference with Iraqi Finance Minister Fuad Hussein, who is also deputy prime minister for energy, in the capital Baghdad.

"We have signed a free trade agreement between the two countries, and have been activated and put forward the comments on the competition of goods produced in the two countries, to contribute to the movement of trade exchange better," Muasher told the conference.

The Jordanian official did not give any further details on the terms of the FTA and when it would officially start.

But he said the prime ministers of the two countries would meet on February 2 to finalize agreements between the two countries in various fields.

Muasher pointed out that the energy sector as one of the agreements to reach a final understanding, "such as an oil pipeline from Iraq to Aqaba, and the electric connection between the two countries."

In April 2013, Jordan and Iraq signed a framework agreement for a 1,700 km oil pipeline project at a cost of $ 18 billion and a capacity of 1 million barrels per day.

The proposed pipeline runs from the southern Iraqi province of Basra to Aqaba in southern Jordan on the Red Sea. The Kingdom hopes to meet its energy needs through the pipeline (150,000 barrels per day) and exports the rest via the port of Aqaba.

"The Jordanian cabinet has approved the pipeline agreement and is currently being studied by the Iraqi government in preparation for a final agreement and the start of the project," Moasher said. "We are optimistic that the implementation will take place soon."

"Before the meeting, there were bilateral meetings between the Iraqi and Jordanian ministers, and we reached an agreement for joint action in many areas," Fouad Hussein said.

The Jordanian delegation, headed by Moasher and members of the ministers of industry and trade, health, finance, municipalities, transport and energy, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, arrived in Baghdad on Sunday for an unannounced official visit.

The visit comes less than two weeks after Jordanian King Abdullah II visited Iraq and met officials in Baghdad, his first visit in 10 years.
