Parliamentary Legal attributes the events of Kirkuk to the late adoption of the "oil and gas law

Yota, DT, Thanks,  DV,  We are looking good for the "Oil & Gas Law" & "National Oil Company Law" to be approved very soon IMHO.  We know both laws have been submitted to COM for discussions and approval back in Jan 2017.   The Liberation Of Mosul in nearing and everybody is rushing in a panic to get things done because they all know the "Big Boom" is coming.    Lets git er done boys and move forward and share the wealth with your citizens and give them the purchasing power they deserve.....:D  1:1 to start out will work just fine.....:)

Twilight News / tote deputy in the Iraqi parliament for the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan bloc Ribawar Taha, on Thursday, Oil Minister Jabbar Allaibi responsibility for what happened today in the province of Kirkuk by the lack of commitment to the agreement between the ministry and the province.

 

The strength of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Peshmerga have entered the headquarters of the North Oil Company owned by the Iraqi government and stopped briefly pumping oil to the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean.

 

Kirkuk organizations of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan office official Mamend Aso said on the incident said the move comes as a message warning to slough Baghdad pledges construction of a refinery in the province, giving Baghdad one week deadline to fulfill their pledges.

 

The MP said Taha, a parliamentarian from Kirkuk, in a press statement responded to the Twilight News, "in the previous period, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the Oil Ministry in the presence of Oil Minister Jabbar Allaibi and Secretaries of State and advisers, as well as the presence of agents and the Ministries of Electricity and Planning and Governors of Nineveh, Kirkuk, Salahuddin was agreed and signed on Mahzer included six points meeting. "

 

He added, that "it is in the points he wanted the minister to provide the refinery located in Nineveh (Erbil / ASCII Kalak) Kar-run company with 40 thousand barrels a day of Kirkuk's oil."

 

He said Taha, said that "there is another important point concerning the expansion to increase production capacity at the refinery in Kirkuk, which exceed the 60-year-old or invest the refinery to become a national project and become the ministry is the only party that controls the oil from the refinery, but the minister did not abide by this point despite obtain approval within Mahzer meeting by all present. "

 

And he expressed his deputy surprised "by the minister to prevent action on this point and the creation of expansion at the refinery, which serves all Iraqis, although advisers and legal study in the ministry supported the expansion project," noting that "the minister is working contrary to what has been agreed upon in Mahzer This in itself is contrary and therefore bears What happened today in the circumstances of the North oil company. "

 

He noted "the existence of a partisan political interventions and called (mafias oil) manipulate the destiny of the people and can not be tolerated," warning "of agreements with certain parties at the expense of the national interest and the interest of the Iraqi people in general and especially Kirkuk."
